i recently saw my little brother coming out of the bathroom looking quite distressed and when i asked him what was wrong he told me it was painful to go to the toilet he said that he knew it was an internal hemaroid coz he had looked up on it and that there was sometimes blood he wont go to the doctors because it was embarassing and he knew it would be painful to have it removed im really worried about him, can it cause serious damage? will it get worse? are there any alternative answers please help my poor little brother is so embarassed and what causes it?

OK...the most common cause of bloody stool is hemorrhoid...
I doubt that your brother has enough medical background to rule out the condition just by glancing at medical dictionary.
There are other causes like inflamatory bowel disease(crohn's or ulcerative colitis). Both are serious enough that he needs to go see a doctor immediately. Another cause may be infection.
I seriously doubt that I can teach you guys enough on this forum to diagnose or rule them out.
Tell your brother it'll be much more embarassing if he has to carry around a colostomy bag around because he saw the doctor too late. In case colostomy bag is not in the dictionary your brother read, it's a bag that's connected to a tube which bypasses your bowl by connecting to your intestine through your abdominal wall..yes he'll be carrying a bag of feces on his side...
I think seeing a doctor is much less embarassing, less painful in the long run, and once you found out what you have...will you put your mind at ease....

Encourage him to go to the doctors. It could be many things. I don't want to worry you but it could even be cancer. My mum started not being able to go to the loo and she also had some blood and it turned out that she had a tumor. He should really go to the doctors to be on the safe side. I hope he gets better. Well yes it can get worse much worse if left untreated.
I have to go to a urologist I don't like him having to check my prostate but that is the only why to check it.
Tell him to put away his pride that that is life things like hemorrhoids happens to all of us from time to time some cases worse than others.
He really really needs to go to the doctor not a joke this is serious business.

You are absolutely right about the law and Romney not breaking it. Mr. O'Reilly didn't ask and should have asked, "Is the current law fair"? Change the law? Honestly, this matter has been brought up for decades, just like the flat tax, inheritance tax, etc... nothing ever is done about changing the laws properly. Before the ink is dry, loop wholes are already found.

my dad is like that he gets internal ones as well. It's caused from stress mostly. The thing that helps him is preparation H , its designed to get the hemroids in your anus as well on the outer rim. You can get it anywhere, walmart, target etc. It takes like a week to fully go away but it will stop the itching, and pain. Hope this helps:)

keep encouraging him to see a doc, cuz left untreated the problem may become worse and even more painful. The embarassment is less painful than the ailment.

he really needs to go to the dr. self diagnosis can be quite dangerous and there are lots of other things it could be including a tumor. TELL HIM TO GO TO THE DOCTOR.

he best see a proctolgist they can be more than painful he could get bad infection that could cause him a lot of problems
