I have it in my right hand, & I'm thinking about getting surgery.

YES! I had it on my right hand and it was an instant change. I do not regret at all that I had it done. It was swollen for about a week but actually looked worse than it felt. And compared to the pains, numbness and aching I was having before - it was a breeze. Good luck.

I had my surgery around the bottom of my thumb, so not necessarily where you will have yours.
My surgery did not help. I am still numb there and drop things. I will not let them touch my wrists or any other parts of my body. I go in tomorrow, but will not let them convince me of any more sergaries....I have been diagnosed with several different arthritis's including carpal tunnel in both wrists.
I worked with a gal who got her one wrist done, she said it did not help her. Maybe some people it does help? And you will have this scar to show people....
