I have a mental disability. I was on SSI for a year, then the judge took it away on me. I reapplied and got denied, so now I'm under 2 appeals. I have a lawyer. Are there anyt special tests i should request? What kind of information should be in my records/dr. info ? SSI said I'm not severe enough to keep me from working, but I know I am. ANy help would be appreciated, especially from someone who works with Social Security or is on SSI...

I had blood drawn for a physcial last week. When the lab drew my blood, I had a bit of a cold and had taken some cold meds the day before. Now the Dr. wants to see me because I have a low white blood cell count. (I have an appointment this evening). Could the low count results be because I was sick? They have me a little worried. Thanks.

I recently purchased an elliptical machine a few weeks ago I have been eating healthy for about a month for breakfast and lunch any way. Dinner is hard because I am cooking for my husband and to be honest I love to have good dinners. I am on the elliptical 5 days a week is it ok to have yummy dinners or should I cut it out and stick to Healthy choice dinners. I want to lose the weight but I don't want to lose everything.

I remember reading a while back that your dog could be used to cope with depression the same way a dog is used for blind people, or deaf people. I was wondering if someone could get me more information on the subject? THanks!

I just got home from school and it smelled like gas in my kitchen. I look at the stove and its open a little bit so that gas will leak out. What kind of gas is in gas ovens, and how bad is it that my dog has been breathing it in all day?? She threw up a little bit when i got home, but otherwise she seems fine.

Any suggestions to fight dry skin (back, legs). Its not "terrible" but it is itchy.
I tried putting baby oil on me after my shower but that was a real short solution.
Any suggestions for vitamins, shower gels or lotions would be great.

I've been doing an exercise dvd to keep fit and lose weight but I want to start swimming. I know that it's a good way to keep fit but is it a good way to lose weight and make a difference to your figure?

Ever since I was small my mom and dad were always smokers. My dad eventually moved out when I was 20 but I'm still living with my mom who continues to smoke. Since I grew up with it, I got used to it.

My boyfriend moved in with us 6 months ago from a non-smoking environment. He has had lots of breathing problems and has complained of feeling ill. I explained this to my mom and we've taken measures to decrease the smoke levels.

In the last few days after having done this I find myself getting dizzy and nauseous all the time. I've started to wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that I've been used to high levels of second hand smoke for most of my life and am not used to the lack of it. Could this be some sort of withdrawl?

I've never heard of anyone getting withdrawls from second hand, but I thought I'd see what anyone else knew.
