If I don't shave my legs within a week, I get lots of inflamed, painful, and large pimples. When I do shave, the inflamation goes down quickly and they heal within a day. Any ideas what's going on and how I can avoid it? This has been happening for over five years, so I don't think it has anything to do with a reaction to soap, lotions, laundry detergents, climate, etc.

So I read alittle about Asperger's disorder recently online. Its a very mild form of Autism which isn't very well known. It's only been recognized for the last 15 years or so. I'm afraid I might show some tendencies of this disorder. Is there any way of doing a self assesment of this disorder to avoid going to a psycologist first. I am a 30 year old male by the way. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

A friend of mine has developed Bells Palsy this past weekend. She is scared and they told her it would get worse for a month and then get better for a month. Can anyone recommend how I can help her or offer stories of hope to share with her?

Thank you!

I have been diagnosed with runners-knees (patello-femoral pain syndrome). I am in physical therapy to increase the surrounding muscles, but will the cartilage that has worn away ever come back? What other remedies are helpful for this condition?

P.S. I do not run or do any strenuous exercises that I can contribute to this disorder. I am a 34 year old female.

I am 33 and think it is time to break down and get this done. I haven't yet because I haven't had any pain or other symptoms, nor the money. But now the one in bottom back is starting to throb and swell my gums. I have 2 competely in and one that has not come through at all... I would like to know from anyone who is older and had impacted teeth, how this went for you. Did you have local, general or total sedation and how was it? How was it after for pain? Did you have more problems than non-impacted patient? I have never had surgery or any extended time in the hospital, so any procedure is new to me. I think there has been a tremendous amount of good info in response to this, but I would like to hear from some others who aren't so young w/ "fresh, easy" teeth. Thanks!!

Ok, so here's the thing. I'm on my 4th college right now. I just started my spring semester (first semester junior), and this will be the first time I've gone to one school two consecuative semesters. Fall 05 I was in SC (I live in MA) and I went back in Jan from Xmas break and just had to leave. I couldn't be there anymore, so I came home and went to the state school down the street.

Now it's Jan again and I'm at school in CT and have been since this past fall. But I'm starting to freak out again. I'm not happy whatsoever, and I don't know why.

I do have depression, and it is winter, so maybe it's seasonal. But I really don't know what to do. I feel like I just need to change schools again. Like I need to just pack up and move across the country (as weird as that is, seeing as how last Jan I went home...)

I keep needing to change where I am. I'm never satisfied or happy with where I am. I don't even know what I'm goin to school for...

What should I do? Help please? :(
