The color of the urine represents the amount of hydration, almost to the point of being able to say what percentage you are lacking. The yellowness comes from the urobiliruben, a break down of waste in the body. Reds and oranges can come from blood or medications or dietary changes. The cloudiness is determined by extra stuff floating in it like casts, proteins, and blood.

it just is a result of how hydrated or dehydrated you are. If it is clear that means you have drank enough fluids....yellow or cloudy means you need more water--drink those 8 glasses a day!

If you do not drink enough fluids, your urine gets yellow and cloudy and it is clear when you are drinking enough fluids which is good.

You have lots of answers here.. but pee has "hitchhikers" that go out with it that give it the color.. if you have LOW amounts of salts etc. then it is clear, and if you have LOTS of minerals (like after a vitamin pill!) you can have flourescent!.. and anywhere between.
Cloudy is unusual but unless it is common to you (and indicates a STD/sexually trans. disease) I would not worry bout it

its yellow from the iron deposits and/or heavy drug use...the clear depends on whether or not your hydrated..if your completely hydrated it will be clear...but if it is a dark yellow I suggest you start drinking more water.
