There's a product called dermamed that does wonders for eczema. I use it for my son. It works better than cortisone without any nasty side effects. Its completely natural. Apply 3 or 4 times a day and your eczema will be cleared up in about 3 days. I'll get you the link to where you can purchase some.
I used the all purpose one in the green bottle, but there is one especially for eczema as well.

Try to find out what's causing the eczema as well. My sons was caused by fabric softener, cats, and chlorine pools. If we avoid those things it doesn't bother him. Sometimes eczema can be caused by a build up of toxins in the body system also. Start cleansing your body on the inside out. You can purchase food enzymes to help your body absorb nutrients better as well as take omega 3,6,9. You can also take acidophollis which will also promote healthy digestion and vitamin absorption. I did all these things with the advice of the herbalist at the health food store. My sons eczema hasn't bothered him in over a year. Hope this helps.

It depends on what medication you are taking. It sounds like you just may have dry chapped skin. Try some coccobutter, it should help it in a couple of days. If not you can switch to over the counter hydrocortisone. This is the first line cure for eczema but it may take a week or so to full work.

Aveeno is a good product to use. Moisturising 2-3 times after washing or as necessary. A high dairy diet can provoke eczema. Try light coloured clothing to keep cool. Egyptian cotton is good for sleeping. A mattress protector, pillow protector and duvet protector can help fight dust mites, which also can provoke your eczema. Try a bath with porridge oats ground up, sea salt (i use Himalayan) milk and honey baths every so often might relieve some of the symptoms. You can get eczema wrist covers to keep your broken skin breathing, although you can get hot wearing them that again could make it worse. I have atopic eczema, so I'm just using my experience for examples. Keep your products scent free, in the fridge, and use whichever works best until. Try not eating gluten and oats and bread and use dietary food as much as possible. Try using non-biological liquid in your washing. Try whatever you can! Tell your doctor what you are doing and she what they can advise. No worries

Well
In curing eczema, one must bear in mind that the main goal is to stop skin itchiness that may worsen the irritations. Thus, there is a need to use mild cleansers, soaps, and lotions to clean the skin and relieve it from those irritating and itchy symptoms. It is advised that you consult a dermatologist or a physician in order to get prescriptions or recommendations of cleansers that are ideal to use for eczema-infected skin. Eczema lotions are also available. Cold compresses can also help alleviate the itchiness. You must also remember to resist the urge to scratch the infected area, so you don't make the condition even worse.
I strongly recommend this natural remedy. It really worked for me. Here is the website: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=556
Bye Bye

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

Me too,
I have spent a lot of money on rx creams and ointments, they help a little.
My Dr. told me to start putting vaseline on every night. When I do that the next day all is well, when I don't it's tough.
He said his med school roommate is now a dermatologist and this is what he tells all of his eczema patients. So.. give that a try.
Seems hokey, but works

I have eczema - I find that Betnovate works a treat but use it sparingly as it is steroid based.
Also if u have it really bad, a few minutes under a sun bed will help dramatically due to the UVA rays.
