Ok, so here's the thing. I'm on my 4th college right now. I just started my spring semester (first semester junior), and this will be the first time I've gone to one school two consecuative semesters. Fall 05 I was in SC (I live in MA) and I went back in Jan from Xmas break and just had to leave. I couldn't be there anymore, so I came home and went to the state school down the street.

Now it's Jan again and I'm at school in CT and have been since this past fall. But I'm starting to freak out again. I'm not happy whatsoever, and I don't know why.

I do have depression, and it is winter, so maybe it's seasonal. But I really don't know what to do. I feel like I just need to change schools again. Like I need to just pack up and move across the country (as weird as that is, seeing as how last Jan I went home...)

I keep needing to change where I am. I'm never satisfied or happy with where I am. I don't even know what I'm goin to school for...

What should I do? Help please? :(

Sweetie, where ever you go you are gonna have to take you with ya. You think you are going to find happiness in a school. so you move,It works for awhile, but you are unhappy again, so you pack up and go to another school. Wow, this is nice! I am going to like it here, but you are getting unhappy again. You have to get happy with yourself before you can be happy any where else. I think you should talk to a professional.Get yourself feeling good about you.I bet when you do you will finish the shool you are in.You take care now hon.God bless!

"I don't even know what I am going to school for..." I am a college counselor and I don't know how many times I have heard this from students. From that statement I am guessing that you are undecided about either your major or your career (not necessarily the same thing). While I think you have a lot of other stuff going on...and I don't know your personal history other than what you have stated, being unsure about major/career can cause quite a bit of anxiety. Especially if you are in your junior year and haven't decided.

Most colleges and universities have counseling centers. I would recommend visiting a counselor there and discuss your need to keep moving. Your counselor should be able to help you untangle and sort through your "stuff".

Good luck!

Well you may want to buckle down and stay at a college, so you credit don't get messed up..go ahead and focus on school and graduate! is it your major you don't like? Try to meet new people..when school is done then go move around as much as you want. RV open road..sounds like a plan.

Sounds like a combination of depression and anxiety. You really need to see a doctor so they can get you on some medication and they can talk to you about how to help you deal with your feelings and fears. Good Luck!

Wherever you go, that's where you'll be. With that in mind, does it really matter? Perhaps a warmer climate is what you are seeking? Prolly not. The answer will come to you, soon!

Answers me this... what are you looking for, when you move? And... have you actually found it in past relocations?

I think you'd do better, by figuring out what you're really after, and adjusting.
