So long as you use lube inside and out and both you and your partner are disease free before hand there isn't any risk or harm. Ignore the morality police who will tell you what not to do based upon their version of how you should live your own life, and curiously can't seem to spell "psychologist" even though they claim to be one. There is nothing wrong with someone who enjoys anal and there is nothing harmful about anal. It can't cause an STD or cancer or loss of rectal control, those are just myths. You're just fine and if you enjoy anal then good for you, so do I.

If you are going to do anal sex make sure that you have no feces left around your anus and make sure that you dont have vaginal sex until ur partener cleans up due to the risk of infections

YES!!!! it can tear your rectum & cause painful sores and bleeding. Why would you want to put yourself in that much pain and agony. Unless if you are attracted to the same sex! In that case if you are then i would seek professional counseling. There have been studies saying that homosexuality is caused from sexual abuse. It is not Normal, It is not natural, because God our Father did not create us in any way, to be attracted to the same sex. Homosexuality is a psycological disorder. Please seek medical help for this disease.

i've heard it can be if done too frequently (more than once every two weeks or so) because it doesn't allow the rectum to contract back to its normal size.
but i wouldn't quote me on that. look into it more.
