Our 12 year old son has recently started pulling out his hair and now he has a bald patch which we only noticed when he got his hair cut recently, he will be going to secondary school in september and I am worried that he will be ridiculed/bullied. We know that this is an anxiety disorder but we don't want him on prozac, does anyone know a good alternative treatment or therapy that will work. He will be seen by a child psychologist shortly - we are waiting for an appointment.

I get random bloody noses at all times of the day. Sometimes I get them as frequently as 6 or 7 times a week. I've been having problems with this for as long as I can remember (I'm 22 now), and I don't have any illness that might cause frequent nosebleeds. I know it's dry here during the winter, but even though they're more frequent in the winter, I still get them a lot during the wetter months. They usually start for no apparent reason, I don't even have to bump my nose or anything. I've heard that cauterizing the nose might work. Do you know anything about this? Is it effective? Does it hurt at all? Thanks in advance

I have had some root canal work done and waiting to get a cap for the tooth and I still feel some sinsation on the tooth when I touch or wiggle the tooth,is this something that should be checked out more closely?Why is a root canal required at all?It has been a month since the root canal has been done.This is a upper moler.

I fainted late last night just before I was going to hit the sack, I was sitting at my desk and started feeling dizzy, the next thing I knew I was on the floor with the chair lying next to me, I managed to hit my shoulder and bash my nose as well. Strange thing is I felt perfectly fine before hand and have done for ages! my doctor thinks I may be anemic? is that likely, Im worried in case it happens again!
