I have for three months and love the periods I have on it {2-3 days and very light} but I swear I have gained almost 15 lbs on it. Anyone else had this problem as well as mood swings and persistent headache?

For the past 6 months I have been having trouble sleeping and have had no appetite at all. I can go to bed but I will lie there for hours unable to go to sleep. By the time I do get to sleep it is time for me to get back up again. I have no appetite at all and I have been loosing weight. I don't feel like leaving the house and I want to be left alone. Simple things that really shouldn't cause me to get upset are making upset. I feel nervous all the time. This also makes me feel nauseous all the time; hence no appetite. I don't have any insurance so I really can't go in to see a psychiatrist. Everytime I sign up for a counseling session at my local clinic I always end up canceling it or never end up going. I don't know what to do and I feel like I am alone in the world and no one understands me. I really wish that one morning I will not wake up, but for some reason God is not fulfilling my wish. What should I do?

Just watching the story about the young lady that died from drinking the 2 gallons of water on Larry King live. Can anyone explain what really happened in her body (chemically) that caused her death?

matter how hard I try to use healthy coping skills, I end up cutting and hate myself even more. I recently started DBT, but it does not seem to be working. Why can't I just stop hurting myself? I try to use healthy coping skills and get so distracted by my emotional pain and end up grabbing my cutting weapon. Can I really get better and stop cutting or is this how I will be forever? How long will it take before the DBT skills will start to work? I know I have to put them into action, but I am just in so much emotional pain, that I don't know how. Am I just worthless, or will and can DBT actually work. I am thinking of stopping it. Thanks for any help...

Just looking for suggestions, I plan on excersizing and eating right, but that may not give me the fast result I want. But if thats the best way then I would have to settle for those results.

I pull my eyebrows out and have been doing so for 5 years. I have not seen a health care provider for this because they'll probably just put me on medicine which is something I do not want. I am not depressed. It just seems I do this subconsciously when I am bored or nervous. Does anyone have ideas how i can help myself stop this? It started when I was a freshman in college, and I've graduated over a year ago and still do this. I realize my eyebrows will probably never grow back the way they once were. Any good makeup tips I suppose?

two yrs ago I had carpel tunnel surgery on my left hand, during the last six month the middle finger on that hand turns green amd the finger is ice cold when touched. Could this be from the surgery or another problem with my circulation.

What are some remedies for toothache that anyone knows about? Anything and everything is welcome...I don't care what you say, I just need to know what helpful, gentle and supportive and friendly advice you guys have on this terrible and unjust issue...

Also, does anybody know about the latest advances on dental care and enamel restoration and remineralization of teeth, which is restoring a tooth that is decayed or rotted, like it has a cavity in it? The opposite of that would then likely be called tooth demineralization or tooth decay. Of course, this happens for many reasons and tooth decay and toothache has been plaguing mankind for years. I need sensitive people who are going to anser this question with an understanding and yet honest and decent and mature response, because this is a sensitive issue for all mankind and I need answers as soon and as fast as possible.

So in short, tell me all the advice/solutions for tooth decay and toothache (pain) and remedies...ty so much!!!

I recently went for an allergy test, due to a bad reaction over the holiday season (Christmas Eve) after eating homemade cookies and sweets given to me by a friend. Within in an hour of eating them I started to get a runny nose then my throat felt scratchy & tight. Although I was concerned I did not go to the hospital, because I thought I was getting a cold. I took an antihistamine, but it did very little to help the nose & throat that night. By the following day the nose had stopped running, but my throat felt tight and it hurt to swallow. This lasted about three days and finally cleared up. I went for an allergy scratch test earlier this week, & the test found I had a small reaction to coconut. The doctor recommended I stay clear of coconut & get an epipen just in case my reaction is worse in the future. I’ve never had a reaction to coconut before, & although the reaction was shown to be small I am concerned. Does anyone else have a coconut allergy & can give me more info?

My 2 1/2 year old son was diagnosed with autism in December of last year. Recently, I received the evaluation report from the autism clinic, and I have to say that I don't agree with many of the intepretations and conclusions.

Without going into detail about son's medical history, I'll just say that the only other medical problems are chronic ear infections and some hearing problems.

I'm not sure about the autism diagnosis, and I'm wondering if I should seek a second opinion. Has anyone else ever experienced or heard of autism being mis-diagnosed.

So about 10 minutes, I started having this 'sinking' feeling in my head.. Every time I would step backwards, I would feel like I was sinking, which made me feel kinda dizzy.. and this went on for around 5 minutes.. TOTALLY scared me, I have no idea why it started happening.. I mean, I have had feelings before where just for an instant, I feel like im offbalance/sinking, but not anything like 5 minutes of it.. I haven't had any drugs, or alcohol, it just happened while I was standing up, talking to a co-worker.. anyone?
