It is like if they accidentally touch one while they were digging in your purse, they scream and overreact; even though it is an unused tampon/pad and it is in its wrapper! Why do men overreact when it comes to women and their menstrual cycle? Not ALL women are devils or "PMS" when they are on their period.

I woke up not feeling well this morning and I got a recommendation from the pharmacist for meds and he said it sounded like the flu. But Ive never had a soar throat from the flu, and I didnt know if its likely that it could be mono. So what symptoms come from mono that I wouldnt get with the flu??? PLEASE HELP!

Ok, so my mom ate some shrimp last night that she had in the freezer for quite a long time, my mom, my stepdad and I all ate some but my mom got really sick last night and had really bad cramps and nausea and diarrhea. She has had a lot of blood in her stool. What do you think is wrong, because no one else is sick who ate the shrimp? She has been bleeding alot when she goes the bathroom and I am just curious if anyone would know what to do or what is wrong. They dont really want to go the doctor because they dont have insurance at the moment but will go if really necessary. Please help me!

I have been to the doctor with the feeling that my heart was going to stop. After a ton of blood , heart and other tests they've determined that im fine. I just have sum anxiety. My doc then gave me lexapro and after 2 pills I threw them away(id rather deal with the anxiety than the side affects). My question is, can a thyroid issues cause anxiety/depression. I used to take 2 sea kelp iodine pills a night(1 before my work out and 1 after) im thinking this was too much or maybe too little. I’ve stopped taking them for about 2 months now and that’s exactly when the symptoms began

Im a 16 year old girl.
5'4 about 135 pounds.

I want to be healthier, and more fit.

I dont know if thats a good weight or not, because BMI is a load of crap.

But my figure to me, just isnt pleasing.
I mean I'm not excessivly overweight, and it shows.
I just have some pudge, and it bothers me, also..its hereditary in our family to have a ..rather large booty. Haha. I just mainly want to lose weight in my upper legs, and butt, and lose my intertub around my stomach, and I know its very hard to like section diet, but I'll lose it all if I can! =].

Basically I just want some ways to eat healthier, and techniques to use to stay with it.

Oh and I dont want any like Aktins Diet, or etc.
That cost a fortune, and I'm not interested.

I have just switched from Zoloft because of the side effects of drowsiness but then insomnia... Now I'm trying Paxil and the medical literature states lots of side effects including the above. Can anyone tell me if they have personally had any short or long-term side effects from Paxil. I took my first one today and I'm very nervous feeling with the same headache as I got from Zoloft. I know they're in the same family of SSRI's. Thanks.

Ok I've been taking pain killers since I was 19 and recently I was given vicodin after I had my wisdom teeth pulled.

My problem is that when I was taking vicodin my back pain was completely gone and I mean gone. I didn't even feel anything and it was great.

Now I haven't taken any of these pills for a couple of months but I get the urge to take them to make the pain go away.

Any ideas because I can't get it off my mind. I don't think I'm addicted.
