Yes you can get birth control with out your parents, and your doc can't tell your parents. If you can find a planned parent hood near you, you can get free female health care there, and free birth controll. I do have to say that you are a bit young, and i urge you to think about if you are ready for sex. It is a big step, and you can't undo it once you have done it. Better to be safe then sorry though, so if you think it might happen or you want to be on birth control just to be safe, then go for it.
good luck

You may not beable to purchase it from the store, usually it's by prescription only. Go to your local Planned Parenthood (info at plannedparenthood.org) and tell them your there for birth control. They'll give you paper work to fill out, even if you have health insurance you can put that you don't, if you put that they do the insurance company can call your parents. So put that you don't have health insurance and they will give you free birth control pills. They should give you enough for about 6 months then after than you have to go in for an exam for more. Good luck, also just to let you know 14 is a very young age to have sex. Try staying sexfree as long as you can, you can very well regret having sex with a person that you later find out is not the one for you. Good Luck.

why are you having sex at 14? jesus.

while i am appalled that you are doing this at such a young age, i would be even more appalled that you could get pregnant. go to any planned parenthood, i BELIEVE the age is 14. you will probably be able to get on birth control, but remember to be VERY VERY regular about it. you can't afford to forget to take your pill one day, it has to be something that you remember 100% of the time. also, you should always use condoms even if you are on the pill. not only will it increase the effectiveness of birth control (because you REALLY dont want to be a mommy just yet...), but it will also protect you from STDs which are a very real threat to you. the younger you start having sex, the more partners you are likely to go through, the more likely it is that one of them has a beastie in their groin.

be very, very, very careful, no matter what you do.

You can't just go buy birth control, you have to set up an appointment with your doctor and he/she will prescribe it to you. You're 14, why do you want on birth control? No form of birth control is 100% effective against preventing pregnancy, so how about you keep your legs closed until you're old enough to provide for yourself, at which point if you did become pregnant, you could provide for someone else.

I'm not sure what the age limit is but they do help girls and guys at the Health Department, no charge. But ... at age 14 it is not a good idea to start having sex. I won't preach at you though. Just think it through.

Hold off on sex sweetie, you're way too young. If you really can't wait, and have your mind made up, call Planned Parenthood and they will be able to guide you.

It depends on what state you live in. Call your local Planned Parenthood and ask them. They'll know the answer.
