I had surgery a little over a month ago and got my gallstones/gallbladder removed and it still hurts really bad....i have gone to the ER and they just give me more pain medication and release me.....it hurt like where they cut me and it feels like it is stabbing me with needles and the scar is like a lump is this just part of the healing process or is it something more serious

I lift dumbbell weights and bench press but the only results i see are on my biesipes and fore arm. I need some excersises to work out everything on my arm(ie. under the arm, shoulder area, wrists and elbows if possible.

About 5 days ago a gland under my neck swelled up a lot and it was quite painful. I also got what I thought were a couple of ordinary zits on my chin. Now the gland has returned to normal but those little zits have turned into scabs that are about quadruple the size of what the zits were. Something similar like this, with the gland swelling and all happened in the same area on my chin. It became this huge nasty oozing scab that took about three and a half weeks to heal. I have a scar from it. Any ideas on what this is and why? Thanks.

According to my college health class book, I am of average weight for my height.

But my problem is that it is mostly muscle (think Bruce Lee only somewhat bigger)and since we all know that a pound of muscle is the size of a baseball and a pound of fat is the size of a softball, I look athletic but SOMEWHAT skinny.

I work out and just burn calories, don't gain much weight. I eat junk food like crazy and still don't gain weight. Protein shakes, weight gainers, vitamins, testosterone pills, etc.

I have tried eating pasta, bread, etc. all the time. Still nothing. Started drinking 8 glasses of water a day only to find that I lost weight from that.

What do I do?? What do I eat? How much?!?!

My friend wears glasses coz he's myopic and has never worn a pair of sunnies coz a couple of eye doctors tell him that it's going to make his eye problem even worse. he really wants to especially when the day's so bright and sunny.

Any advice?

I think I might be depressed, the last week I've been crying for no reason, feeling uninterested in some stuff, and not feeling happy as often... nothing moves me, and I feel like I have no feelings whatsoever... like I'm numb inside, or that my feelings are asleep... I'm like blah about everything...

I didn't really care until it started affecting my relationship with my BF... he's perfect for me, and if he can't make me happy no one else can. There's nothing wrong about him... but sometimes, although I know I love him, i don't feel the love like I did a couple of weeks ago. However when I get to feel happy, I feel the love very strongly...

Can the depressive state in which I am right now be the cause of me not feeling as much love for my BF?? Or am I really starting to love him less? HELP! I wouldn't want to love him less, because he's so great... I'm confused because negative thoughts are all over....

Hi. I was just wondering about professional counseling. I know about it and stuff, but I was wondering how one would approach one's mother about it... =/
Ya see I think I need to talk to someone. In the past I've had self injury problems, depression problems, and eating disorders. My mom doesn't know about anything but the cutting (and perhaps the depression, but I havent said anything). My question is how would I talk to my mom about my wanting to speak to someone? What do I say? How do I start such a conversation?

my 91 yr old mother has taken stool softeners for 2 days unsuccessfully. today she took phospha-soda. enough for a medical test. still nothing. i just gave her an enema and she is still blocked. should she go to the hospital.
