I know that a woman with HIV/AIDS has, like, a 1% chance to pass the disease to her child if she takes certain precautions, but what about if the husband has HIV/AIDS? Is there something that he can do so that he can impregnate his wife w/ a lowered risk of passing HIV/AIDS to the child or his wife? Thanks!

My husband & I have been together for close to 4 years now & I'm at my wits end. Every morning since we've been married I've had to wake my husband up. He doesn't hear any alarm clock & I have to sprinkle water on him, shake him, & repeatedly call his name to get him to wake up. However, he also holds conversations in his sleep so sometimes I think he's awake when he really isn't.

He'll get VERY grumpy & says hurtful things during these sleep/wake episodes, & he's shocked when I tell him about it later; he never remembers it, but he's always deeply regretful and feels terrible about it when I tell him. He is normally a VERY considerate & loving (so PLEASE don't tell me to leave him; I won't).

I've looked at some sleeping disorder websites & nothing really seems to match; no one even addresses the anger. Does he need to do a sleep study? On the weekends I can just let him wake up on his own & he's just fine, & he goes to sleep just fine at night too.

Any ideas?

ok well one of my best friends is 15 and i am 13, just recently she had unprotected sex with another 15 year old guy. i guess he is the type that has sex with all sorta of women. so what i am wondering is what is the chances that my friend has an std?


and to make matters worse
we accidently got our underwear mixed up
so if she does have and std, what are the chances that i will get it too becuz i wore her underwear?

I got my period yesterday and didn't have any cramps at all. Today, my cramps have been horrible! It feels like someone keeps punching me in the stomach! Anyway, I took 2 motrins this morning but they haven't helped at all and I don't want to take any more incase of overdosing. What foods should I eat to make it feel better? My friend said to eat healthy and stay away from fatty foods and dairy products but so far, I'm confused on what will help and what won't! Please help me! My cramps hurt really bad!

On December 12, I woke up having a sore throat. This turned into a cough where I began coughing up green icky stuff. I would occasionally get a headache. Last night, December 21, I was feeling a lot better, coughing a lot less and virtually no sore throat. I went to this party and had a little less than a beer to drink because I wasn't feeling well. Later that night when I got home, I was coughing up a little bit of blood. I was vomiting all night and had to use the bathroom numerous times as I had diarrhea. Today I have a headache and my stomach still doesn't feel right. I was able to eat some toast with jelly, but was barely able to keep that down. It's 5 o clock now and I still feel horrible. Any suggestions on what I can do, like eat something specific or anything. Thanks for your help.

front teeth are okay, it's just from my 'vang' teeth and back really...i use aquafresh or colegate whitening paste, but with no GREAT results, maybe thats because i drink like 4/5 cups a day though:/

but can this easy be sorted out by a scrape and polish from the dentist? or will the tootpaste sort it out if i stop drinking it for a few weeks?

My teeth hurts i dont know why but it has a sealant on it. i tried using Ponstant but it doesnt last long now i cant sleep bec. of the pain. is there anyway to stop the pain longer? and what is clove oil anyway i read it i dont know where to get it. Im 14 BTW

My husband has bouts of symptoms where he feels really sore and worn out. We think he may have diabetes but we haven't gone to the doctor yet because first we wanted to wait until after Christmas is over with and I wanted to ask you all your opinion.
We think it could be because he eats ALOT of sugar. My husband loves sugar, ice cream and candy and will eat a ton of it. Then approx 1-2 times a month he gets "Sick" where he feels worn out and says his muscles feel sore. He isn't working out or doing anything to make him sore or worn out. Could this be a sign of him having diabetes? Should we see a doctor and start with a regular physical or what? Thank you for your answers!!!
