You've never had a blood test? WTF? Your parents must really hate you.

Anyway, yeah, it won't hurt much. Just don't look at the needle and try to think about something else. The actual needle takes only a second or two, and then there's just a little tiny dot on your skin that heals up after like a day.

It doesn't really "hurt" - especially if the person taking your blood is experienced. It might sting just a bit, but thats about it. If you are nervous just tell the nurse before she starts and DO NOT look at the needle at all - just turn your head away.

ahh a blood test? im terrified of needles. im 13, and ever since i was like 6 years old i would run out of the doctors screaming just so i wouldnt have to get one. i cry everytime...im such a baby. i recently had one about 2 months ago. i was so scared. when the needle was in my arm though. i didnt feel anything. i am now no longer afraid of getting them. i guess it doesnt really hurt, you can ask to get the smallest neddle they have which they use on babies, and then you can barely even feel it. it doesnt hurt though, but for me....after theyre done with it, i get dizzy and a headache. you'll be fine though. it only takes up to 5 minutes.

It doesn't hurt usually. Maybe a little pinch when they first stick you but if you look away you probably wouldn't notice it. Usually, if you tell the person that you don't want it to hurt they will try to be extra careful with you.

Not Really, but that might be because I am used to it. The trick is not to look at the needle when it goes in because it will make you tense up which will make it hurt even worse.

If the phlebotomist (person who draws the blood) is good, you shouldn't feel anything!! If, on the other hand, he or she isn't using top, top notch needles or isn't as gentle as possible, you will feel a pinch but no more than that.

Imagine if you pinched yourself using your nail. That's about how it'd feel.

it depends on how good the one drawing your blood is but it will probably sting a little for just a couple seconds.do not worry about it.itis simple and quick.

it doesn't hurt believe me. I had to have one because i was twitching and they thought i might have something in my blood causing it. It just feels like a shot.
