Zea, there are so many teens today with the same problem...you can be helped because you have come forward and taken that first step you have admitted you have a problem....you can talk on line forever and it will not solve your problem..depression needs to be dealt with by a doctor and not over the Internet...you need to see a psychiatrist one on one ...your family doctor can refer you to one and he will evaluate and help you ....he will do all the talking at first please go you are young and can get help if you want ...but you have to want it ...good luck my friend and bless you kara

Here's a hug, kiddo. You're right to reach out for someone to talk to. I'm not a psychiatrist and I don't have a myspace site, but I just wanted to let you know that with a little time and compassion, you'll pull through this. I also wanted to ask you to be kind and gentle to yourself during this time. Not everyone on myspace has your best interest at heart, so listen to your instincts when you start talking to someone new.

Perhaps there is someone in your neighborhood with whom you could meet in person: a parent, an older sibling, a teacher, or a church member. Someone you know and trust who can check in on you and help guide you through this time.

I'm praying for you, regardless of what your faith may be. You have everything you need in this world right there in your heart and mind, so trust and be kind to yourself.

I know exactly how you feel! I'm 20 years old and began having problems with depression when I was 13. It took me nearly 5 years to get it half way under control. Here is my myspace profile link....I'll accept you as a friend, and we can talk. I feel for you!!
