my mother is 80 years old, 60 years in wheelchair, she uses a transfer board to get from wheelchair to recliner, toilet, and bed. She has to slide and does not have any lift in her arms, the flesh on her bottom is breaking down. any ideas on how to protect her flesh so she can continue to transfer? Is there a product or bandage that she could wear to protect that area? she has no use of her legs and depends on her arms, she cannot wear underpants.

The person I suspect of being bipolar has the following symptoms:

He has insomnia and can't sleep until about 3am
He abuses rx painkillers, weed and alcohol 'to calm down'
Sometimes he spends money like water even though he doesn't haev it and other times he cries his eyes out at the thought of having to spend $1

Sometimes he is so withdrawn that he won't even pick up the phone

He will spend money lavishly and then blame his credit card bill on someone else

He thinks suicide is a good idea and has been hospitalized for suicidal ideation before and thinks all of this is normal

He can be upbeat for about 6 weeks but then he'll suddenly say that life feels like a living hell and he will be depressed and depressing to be around for several months

He says that he is not mentally ill but that he was is far more advanced than everyone else and nobody can understand him

I have SEVERE pain in my left side between my ribs and my hips. My period is a bit late if that help at all. It came on sudddenly about 1 hr ago and i could hardly breathe through the pain. i took 2 atasol 30s and it is bearable but bad now. It eases up when i lie down. Any suggestions as i dont want to go to the emergency room for something dumb

I've taken the depo this september,,& from then on..i feel severe pain & burning sensation after he comes. Is that normal?

Looking in our local Safeway, I was overwhelmed by all the kinds of blue cheese dressing! I'm looking for a good low calorie or diet dressing in blue cheese for my husband. He has no clue, but I know when I try to pick one he'll probably push it to the back of the fridge. He's lost over 50 pounds so far so I need to get a low calorie one. I'd also accept an easy to make recipe if you have one. "easy" is key here!
