You should try to work out a little everyday. I know it might be hard with a new baby and all, but even 30 minutes helps. It will also help boost your metabolism. Also, avoid foods with a lot of fat or sugar in them. Instead, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, and drink a lot of water. Try to avoid snacking, (unless you are hungry, of course) and eat four to six small meals a day. (About 300-400 calories each depending on the size of the meal, how frequently you eat, and how active you are.) Some good suggestions for foods: apples with peanut butter, carrot sticks and dip, bagel with reduced fat cream cheese, low fat lunch meat sandwiches with lots of veggies on whole wheat bread, cereals such as Smart Start, Cheerios, Mini Wheats, and other foods with lots of nutritional value. Good luck losing the weight!
