My thumb started hurting yesterday (really sensitive) and this morning i woke up and i had a shooting pain in my thumb as well as my arm. It actually causes me to jerk my arm. i also get a numb tingly feeling in my thumb and arm. I dont work with my hands and i'm only 21 so i don't know what it could be. My 9 mo. old son is quite heavy and i always hold him with this arm, do you think that could be causing this? Any input appreciated!

Ok, im 14 and im not sexually active. I shaved my pubic hairs around the base of my penis about 1 - 2 weeks ago and today have noticed a pimple thats kinda big. I squeezed it becuase i thought it would just be like any other pimple, but now its been about 20 mintues and its kinda like its came back. So im just wondering, is it acne caused from shaving? ive never had any other trouble with my penis until now when i shaved it a bit.

I hear voices but I don't know why. I just know I was abused since I was 3 years old and when I turned five I strted hearing voices that tell me to hurt myself. Could that be the reason I hear them.

Why do our areolas (colored ring around nipples) shrink when it gets cold as well our nipples become erect?

I am a 19 year old female that has the same routine everyday for the past year or so. I get up every morning at about 3:30 for work and then two days a week I attend school. I work up to 8 hours a day and then I seem to go home and fall a sleep for a few hours. I have never done this before and it is really annoying. It seems like I can never get enough sleep. I have a bad urinary tract infection. I always feel like I have to pee, and when I do it stings very badly, but only a little bit of blood comes out each time. I am not very sexually active, the last time I had sex was about a week ago and it was the first time in a long time. I am also on my period, and I accidentally left my tampon in for over 24 hours. Could that be how I got this UTI? I am not sure how I got it, but I don't know what to do to get rid of it without visiting a doctor. Please help! Thank you!

i know nothing about amblyopia. they are trying glasses first and in six weeks possibly eye patch and then surgery. he is 5 yrs old. his eyes have been crossed for a few years now. i am afraid of him losing his sight. does surgery have a high sucess rate.

My doctor is lowering my dosage on a capsulated medication. Is it possible for me to open the capsules, divide the medication into the appropriate dose, and then recapsulate it? I kinda don't want to have to buy more meds since I already have a bunch.

I don't understand why I hurt all the time. I have bad headaches every day, and my back hurts constantly. I've been to chiropractors, doctors, been on meds for depression. It's mostly in my head and back, but it is excruciating. I'm only 28 years old. I can't remember the last time I felt good. My doctor must think I am a hypochondriac, but I really feel so much pain all the time and something is wrong.
