As soon as you see or feel a new pimple take a clean cloth and fold it up into a point or into a little pad. Run the hot water till it is at its max temp that your skin can tolerate. Dip the wash cloth tip into it and then apply the tip of the cloth to the pimple. When the cloth begins to cool down the redo the hot pack. Keep applying the packs to each pimple for 20 minutes or so. The face will get hot. It will also get red.
This may seem like alot of work (which it is) but it well worth it. It works. Stick to one product(s) and don't give up on it. Hot packs before bed , during the day, then the following morning. After the packs wash the face with pimple cream and then apply the cream itself.
I can usually rid myself of a pimple emerging in less than a day! Gotta be diligent in doing this.... You'll see emerging pimples dissolve away w/o breaking thru the skin.
BTW look at the products label. Look to see if the active ingredients are the same. Try to avoid that.
Good luck.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

This is an age-old problem... and it seems today that more people have acne in the form of rosacea into their late adulthood...ugh!
The absolute best answer I have come across is from my favourite "hygienic" doc on-line, Dr. Ben Kim, D.C.. He addresses acne as the result of improper diet and body function. Then he provides a very nice (I think) 10-point natural system for clearing it up. Highly recommended!

Here is a place to order Retin A without a prescription:
http://www.inhousepharmacy.com/skin-care/retino-a.html
It is a reliable online pharmacy.
Retin A is one of the few things that will really work for acne. When you first start using it, your face might look sunburned. Let that heal and slowly start using it again. Before long, you can use it without any problems.

Go to the doctor and get some medication. I did that when I was a teenager and it cleared up.

Listerine and tooth paste work really well overnight.
I have also herd that if you use head and shoulders on your acne for two weeks it will be generally gone for months.
