I don't understand why I hurt all the time. I have bad headaches every day, and my back hurts constantly. I've been to chiropractors, doctors, been on meds for depression. It's mostly in my head and back, but it is excruciating. I'm only 28 years old. I can't remember the last time I felt good. My doctor must think I am a hypochondriac, but I really feel so much pain all the time and something is wrong.

I am sorry to hear about the pain you are having...
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and rheumatoid arthritis.
I would find another doctor, a more understanding one..
The tests (at least in Australia) for fibro and chronic fatigue, well they have no definitive tests, and it is mapped by a thorough examination and you go through the history of your pain and then doctors and specialists and they will be able to answer your questions..
I hope you find relief....

I was diagnosed with fibro too. I don't think it's real. But that's another debate for another time. Sounds to me like a nerve problem. You could have a pinched nerve in your spine. That's not going to get better with a few trips to a chiropractor or doctor. My advice to you is to go back to the chiro, and have adjustments DAILY. I did, and it took 3 months of daily therapy before I got any relief, and now I am pain free with just a one-a -week treatment.

You said it Chiropractor....quakes they create pain and that bone cracking can actually release endorphines which are pleasure chemicals. So that can become addictive itself believe it or not. If your doc thinks your a hypochondriac you need to find a new one. Its possible you have TMJ, do you grind your teeth? That can cause headaches, neck aches, back aches etc... If your a grinder go see a TMJ specialist.

get checked out for Fibromyalgia (FMS) and/or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). You are not too young for either as I was diagnosed with FMS at 27. They don't show up in blood test, you will need to see a rhumetologist.
