You have just discovered the joys of shaving your genitalia!!
Remember the next few weeks, remember the itching and bumps, and NEVER ask a girl to do that!!
I wouldn't do it again if I were you, but if you are into self-punishment go right ahead....
Anyway it is not acne, it is irritation or an ingrown hair. Don't squeeze ingrown hairs, it will only make it worse. The only thing to do is wait, and perhaps buy a loofah and exfoliate the area. Just don't leave that loofah in the bathroom after you are done. Good Luck!
BTW Chayel30, it's menstrual blood that smells fishy, after it's been exposed to oxygen. The smell has nothing to do with pubic hair, and if a woman keeps herself clean, she won't have to worry about smelling bad.

Shaving pubic hairs (or any hairs, for that matter) doesn't cause acne. Acne is a chronic problem when pores in the skin become clogged and infected.
When you shave a hair though, sometimes, as the hair grows back, instead of poking out of the skin as it is supposed to, it grows underneath the skin. This is called an "in-grown hair", and it causes a painful pimple-like condition called folliculitis.
So, acne is not caused by shaving, but shaving can lead to folliculitis. Your best bet is to leave it alone- it will fix itself after a week or so. If you do squeeze it, keep an eye out for infection. Wash the area with soap and water in the shower, and if you "pop" it, put some neosporin or other antibiotic cream on it. If it doesn't seem to be getting better, or if it gets much worse, go see your doctor.
You can expect to get more in-grown hairs if you continue to shave, especially if you shave very close to the skin. If you leave a little stub of hair poking out of the skin, then as the hair grows back, it won't get stuck under the skin.

It is probably a ingrown hair, you have to be careful how you pop them because they will come back. If you pop it again make sure you are getting the ingrown hair out to. Next time use a cream that is for shaving soft skin. That is what you need. Your skin is delicate and you need to treat it right. Also from preventing in grown hairs make sure you shave regularley, or make sure you comb your pubic hair I know sounds silly, but see your pubic hair grows back thicker and curlier everytime you shave. See if your pubic hair was straight you would not get ingrown hair down there. It would come out perfect, but see when it is curly it comes out raggety. Well hope this helps you.

The likelihood is that a hair growing back has gone under the skin rather than exit though it's follicle. The hair is rejected by the skin which forms a kind of irritation/pus (like a pimple)in order to extrude it. If that doesn't happen the hair will eventually be reabsorbed. This happens more easily with thick curly hair - they don't call pubes "short and curlies" for nothin'.
African men often have this problem on their face from shaving, they're called razor bumps. .

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

That happens when the hair grows back amidst a pimple. It is a regular pimple, just probably has hair growing inside it you may have just changed the course of growth. It will go away, and sometimes you can pull it out, it will have a black end.
But relax, its a normal pimple, use alcohol after you shave.
PS: Don't have sex until you're married, STDS are going around and you can never know who has them!! Be above the influence, not saying you aren't.

Because the hair is cut at an angle it is not unusual to have the hair grow back into the skin and cause an "ingrown" hair. Use moisterizer and shave with the grain of your hair and it will go away.

Sounds like chafing due to razor burn. Make sure when you shave you shave the same way the hair is growing and not up against it. The latter will cause more razor burn and irritation.
