Your mum has gone through the same thing you are going through now.....so don't be embarrased. Is there someone else you can tell...an older siter........an aunty.........that you can go to and tell your Mum together? Maybe that would make it a little easier. If you can't do that, then leave the plastic wrapper to whatever sanitary products you are using, on top of the bathroom waste basket where she can see it. She'll then figure it out for herself and come to you about it.

I told my sister, and then told her not to tell my mom. My sister can't keep a secret. HEHEHE!
You should just say to her in a really dramatic way almost joking "Today, Mother, I became a women!" Laugh a bit and if she doesn't get the hint just come out and say you got your period. Good Luck!

Well listen, there is nothing to be embarrased about. I can promise that your mom will not make fun of you or anything. She will answer your questions and help you understand how to use sanitary napkins or tampons. There is nothing to be ashamed of. This just means that you are growing up.

Just go ahead and tell her. Um, I'll try to remember what I said. (I was 13 and now i'm 16) I think I said, "Mom! I got my period!!!!!!!"
But, if you don't want the whole world to know, tell your mom not to start calling everyone and tell them. (My mom called all her friends to celebrate :( ) lol. Just don't be nervous. Relax. It is embrassing, but remember, she's got it too!

tell your mom. u will need some sanitary napkins (kotex) or tampons. she will need to show u how to insert them. for cramps they have pamprin, or just take a couple of tylenols or motrin. motrin is better because it will help with the bloating of a period.good luck lil girl

you should just say look mom i got my monthly and i need you to explain things to me. if she leaves anything out ask her a question. you should not be embarrassed because every woman goes through this and everyone knows that all women have to contend with it.

You should tell your mom. That is one part of her daughters life that she would like to know about. Just to make sure you know what you are doing, and for support too. You should tell her!
