You might be anemic, just try eating more food with more iron in them, like brocilli, and yogurt....especially red meat. This way you get more energy and you're eating healthier.

'Chew some velarium root' - Fight Club

If you are always tired, perhaps you should look closer in to when, and why you are tired. Is it lack of sleep? Is it the marijuana? Is it alcohol? If it is one of those then perhaps you will have to figure out how to spend your time awake better as lifestyle changes are not what we are looking at here. But to get natural energy, your body must want to provide it. It must be fed a healthy wholesome diet, and it must think that it has to perform, so it needs a lot of exercise. Eat a lot of noodles, run a mile. Repeat the next day. If that doesnt work or you do not have time then I suggest getting things done that are bothering you, even if it is something as simple as a dirty dish, or something as complicated as filling out hard paperwork or even doing work. Do the thing nagging at the back of your mind. If none of that applies to you or works, then you are amazing and are tired because you do so much in one day.

You could always try some sort of coffee and if your not into that what my guess is...is that you need to get protein in your body. So in the morning a good breakdast would be some eggs and also bananas are great for energy too. Their has been a study saying that a banana is a lot better for you than an apple. Good luck i hope this helps.

more protein, less carbohydrates.

set a routine and stay on the routine even on the weekends.

get enough sleep at night. set the alarm for the same time each day.

start the day off with a healthy, substantial breakfast such as oatmeal and fruit, toast with peanut butter, etc.

eat small healthy snacks through out they day.

go for a short, but brisk walk on your lunch break.

open the window to get some fresh air.

take a multi vitamin.

dress comfortably but nicely. the dressier you are the better you feel about yourself.

put on some make up.

smile. when your happier you have more energy.

good luck. hope you are feeling better soon!

after sitting for awhile get up and walk around..sometimes I go up a fight of stairs, just to get my blood pumping in my brain.

small meals dont make you as tired as you would be returning to work after a big lunch...plus small meal containing carbs are energy for you brain...snack on special k bars.

coffee will give you a crash unless you drink it all day...so small cups if necessary in the morning.

and I found if I didnt take naps after work i fell asleep easier and stayed alseep for a good night of it.

but get blood work done if it increases, could be a symptom of something

I have a desk job and i know after lunch at times i get really tired.
I have found getting up and walking down stairs and a little walk around the office to help get the blood pumping again.

I hate feeling sleepy at work..
It really makes the day go longer.

Excessive tiredness can be a first symptom of a medical condition other than anemia. Before you start self-medicating, have a complete physical, including a check of your thyroid.
