To anyone who has had their gall bladder taken out, is the surgery, and post surgery pain ful and hard? I just had a baby october 20th and they want me to get my gall bladder removed soon. Any information please!! Thank you!

I have lost a tooth - it is a double back tooth and was crowned many years ago after having a root filling. - I now have lots of 'pink' stringy bits which appear to be coming out of the hole. I think more of the original tooth is missing as well. Can anybody tell me what this is? Thanks

I am a newly qulified teacher who has always struggled with my weight. One of the ways i curb my appetite if through drinking water, normally 2.5 ltrs a day. Now i am a full time teacher i have sufered from urine infections ect from 'holding in'! I am sick of this as i think it is against my human rights. Oh and i an also putting on weight due to starting to drink less! Not happy

away after you start medication for it? I have been on medication now for 24hours but no relief yet.. Anyone out there remembers from having this if it takes longer than 24 hours. this is my 2nd antibotic I have been put on because the first antibotic did not work.thanks

There is a pain where my wisdom teeth should be coming in. The gums there is on a higher elevation then my regular gums and it hurts if I push on it with my tongue.

It isn't super painful, I havn't even thought about taking a pain reliever. This also happened on the other side of my mouth, but the pain went away quickly. What is wrong, if anything?

My girl does not drink too much, but its enought. She gets so sick some times. She will throw up for about 6 to 12 hours. Drinks more water and thourhgs up. Her stomack hurts and cramps. How much more comfortable are the soft contacts lenses compared to hard contact lenses?
I heard that soft are more comfortable then hard lenses. I'm 14 and thinking about getting contacts. Since I'm nearsighted with 275/300 I don't want my eyesight to increase so I still can't decide soft or hard.
How much more comfortable is it?

both my knees need to be replaced because of osteoarthritis and I am in horrific pain but I can hardly afford to not be working,I do NOT get paid for sick days and will lose my job if I take too long off. what is the SHORTEST lenggth of time for recuperation, and can I use cruttches right away to get around if I MUST at least go to work?

I don't have health insurance, so I have to be very careful about going to the doctor. I (thought I) sprained my wrist in a twisting maneuver in aikido class and so I wore a brace for a couple of weeks, did the icing/heating thing, and stopped using it. I'm tentatively going back to aikido class and trying to regain my strength and flexibility with that wrist. However, it's fine until someone in class turns it too fast and then it's sore again. It's been almost two months since the injury, and I am starting to wonder if I broke a bone somewhere. It only hurts in class though.Should I go and get x-rays, or simply stay out of aikido for a while?

I am 13, in good physical condition. I can run as far as most kids unless their distance runners or something. I am 5 foot 5 and weigh a little over one hundred pounds. My frame is thick with wide shoulders.
I am following a workout that involves running. I am running a mile now trying to improve my speed.

When I run against other kids I run with everything I have. But they easily pull ahead even kids that are out of shape or fat. I don't get fatigued or anything, I eventually just out distance them after a while. But at the begging they pass me up like the tortes and the hair. My Father had the same problem and he doesn’t have any ideas. I am just looking for some possible answers.
