Take it with breakfast for best absorption. When breaking a fast your body is hungry for nutrients and will better absorb the multivitamin. Plus you get the b-vitamins, etc.. to assist energy/metabolism throughout the day.

Best Time To Take Vitamins

Some experts say if u eat properly u don't benefit from vitamins. But I only know I watch a friends Mom take a Centrum Multivitamin daily every morning with her breakfast , that coupled with a shot of B12 monthly in hip made her quality of life so much better. She was sharp and witty as a tack. For someone who was never athletic, poor health things changed... she would go on long walks, then hikes, camping and she just enjoyed life. Most of her life she suffered from maniac depression and Parkinson's. Her family got her off of most medications and her dose of the one was so low.

Now I don't believe in Mega dosing that is dangerous, but a multivitamin for most can't hurt. Just be consistent, take it the same time every day. But it gave me amazing hope to see someone totally change and it was basic nutrition and excercise and her daily multivitamin,

Multivitamins once a day is enough and better to take after lunch, though you can take it at any time of the day but after(meals) food.
At the same time it is harmful if you go on taking . Better not to take more than two months. Take vitamins only if necessary -but get them from natural resources:- from food , vegetables and fruits, always.

Never. If you knew how multi-vitamins and regular vitamins were made, you would never take them ever again. What you need to do is eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and steamed or stir-fried vegetables with tofu and drink plenty of pure bottled water and fresh fruit juices every day. Eat garlic, with dinner about 20 chopped up cloves and you will never worry about getting sick and you will be healthier and more energetic because of the fresh fruits and vegetables than you ever have been.

What ever time of day is most convenient for you. Most people take it with their morning meal.

Just be sure you do take it with a meal. Better absorption of the vitamins and decreases any chance of a stomach upset.

Some vitamins I have taken I have gotten indigestion from the coating on them. So I prefer to take my vitamins at night, that I way I sleep through my indigestion! Unless, of course, you have one of those formulas that give you energy, then definately take it in the a.m. with some breakfast, toast at the very least.

Take it immediately before/after dinner. Not only is it more efficient to take it with food, but also, it will become easy to remember to take if its at a specific set time.
