A chemical peel would be beneficial.
Not cheap and slightly painful, but worth the results.

Many people will answer with this or that topical product or cream that is put on the surface of the skin, but really these people have never had scarring or they would know these products do NOT work. I had sever acne scarring so I have tried every easy & cheap solution and can tell you from personal experience. Then I had dermabrasion done. It is very painful and improved the depth of my scars by 20% at best. It stands to reason that if dermabrasion didn't help much, microdermabrasion will be useless but I never had that done so can't say for sure. Then I had the scars injected with collegen, which filled them in for the most part , but that only lasts a few months & then you have to redo it. So then I had Articol injected to fill them in. Not only did it do a better job of filling the scars in, it lasts a long time. I had it done over a period of a few years (its very expensive so couldn't afford to do it all at once. That was 4 years ago and it hasn't faded at all. This is my recommendation as someone who has been there. Get a qualified plastic surgeon to inject the Articol.

A collagen/chemical peel is the only way, It works by peeling off a number of layers of skin.
Costs a bit though and it's quite painful....
Ask at your local beauty salon.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

Natural vitamin E... wonderful whether taking orally, or as a cream to rub in directly; the pure stuff; unscented is best. And do ensure it IS Natural; (( it must say NATURAL on the product else it's synthetic)
Also, a general rule is that the body is capable of repairing itself via good nutrition; so eat a good diet including plenty of fresh vegetables, protein (meats eggs fish chicken etc) fruits (but ONLY if you don't 'break out' with the fructose in fruit! fructose = sugar!)
Drink water to flush out toxins!
A daily B complex is pretty good too....
Good luck

Bio-oil will NOT work - the only thing that will would be some sort of peel/removing layers of skin - see a dermatologist.
