There could be a number of reasons for the vomiting, but at the very least she needs to stop until the cause is determined.

That has to be done by her seeing a physician face to face. He will need to take a complete history and order some test for an accurate and true diagnosis.

Please, tell her to do that in the next few days. Don't put it off.

Ok well first for your girl. its not good to drink water when you are nauseus. It will only make you puke. Your suppose to eat bread or crakers to help obsorb the alcohol. I'm a lite weight too and you really gotta know when enough is enough. Drink slow and enjoy yourself. Whats the point in being miserable. Cold showers definately make you more alert but wont cure you. I've been REALLY plowed twice and the best advice I can give is to just go to bed with a puke pan on the floor next to you. If I close my eyes and quit moving I stop puking.

For you and your hangover..drink lots of water and some asprin or other extra strangth headache pills. If all fails pop open another beer. The best way to cure a hang over is to have a beer (so I've been told). Good luck

You saying she doesn't drink too much, but enough? My friend, that is drinking far too much. Drinking water normally willl induce sickness again. Stomach cramps and pains are normal when one drinks too much and vomits. It is possible she has ulcers, but she doesen't present as a gastrointestinal ulcer patient. I would have her see her family doctor IMMEDIATELY, especially if what she is vomiting looks like coffee grounds or is black. That can indicate an abdominal bleed.

I am not a doctor, but I worked in hospitals for many, many years and observed quite a few of these cases. I'm also an ex-drinker who put in some pain time myself.

I already get drunk almost every night. In fact, I am drunk right now. So I don't think much would change for me. But I think males do because they like the buzz and it's more fun. It's not because of a wife, it's because it's fun and well ..... if we had a boys night out the girl automatically thinks we cheat so whatever we will stay home and party with ourselves!

Unfortunately, she drinks too much and she has a weak stomach. I suppose at this points she could either continue drinking in this manner and worsen the condition of her stomach or she could stop drinking and save herself the trouble. If you want to cure the hangover, check out this article I found on how to cure a hangover:

There are some people who are highly allergic to alcohol.

Could be ulcer. Also a good chance she might have diabetes.

If ulcer, only eat bland foods and stay away from any alcohol. Also stay away from nuts, caffeine.

In either case, see a doctor who can perform a test to rule out diabetes.

Best wishes.

I did this when I was younger. My daughter (21) does this, too. Some bodies aren't meant to have very much alcohol at all. She'll figure it out at some point, it isn't worth the aftermath.

Ginger does help with sick stomach once she's not vomitting. Ginger on its own or with tea, with sweetener or lemon.

Some people just are not able to drink. A friend of mine cannot drink at all because she is allergic to alcohol. If she gets sick every time she drinks she is better off not drinking at all.

no offense intended but why do people ask questions like these? If i keep getting gas from eating crackers, i should probably stop eating crackers. If I have an allergic reation to shell fish, I should probably stay away from shellfish....I don't won't kill her to stop drinking.

As a couple people have already said, the obvious solution is to stop drinking. I know a lot of people who don't drink alochol at all, and none of them feel they are missing out on anything.
