I had an IUD inserted today (the five year). This may seem like a silly question, but I'm going to ask anyway. How is the hormone released from the IUD? Is it possible for too much to be released, and if so what would happen to a person who received too much? Thanks!

My daughter is a dental assistant student and will soon graduate. She is working free for a dentist now, for experiance, and he ask her if she had a job offer yet. She likes it there but has heard that one lady there has been there for 9 years and hasnt gotten a raise yet, do dentists do that, or do they genetally give raises as the cost of living goes up? I told her to take the job if he asks, for a good reference on a resume. it will give her good experiance for now, and I can keep her in town for a bit longer.

How long does food stay in a persons stomach after eating it like if a person ate like 3 meals a day then threw up once at night would they be bulemic? And would that even cause them 2 lose weight? Cuz wouldnt the food maybe be like gone by then...??????????

I am on a medicine that causes me to sweat. ALOT. Not my hands or feet (thank goodness) but I go to a store and all I do mop my face and forehead. It's humiliating!
I become drenched just washing the dishes or sweeping the floor. My entire body drips with it. I always have cold air around me.
I rarely went out this summer because the ac was broke.
I went to a law school graduation and sweated all my makeup off. My hair was wet like I splashed water on it. In front of 200 ppl's family's all dressed up looking perfectly snotty and I look like a wet bum!
I started crying and refused to go to the after party.
If its muggy I sweat more.
They only have special deoderant for hands/feet. Not entire bodies.
I can't go off my medicine.
I also can't live like a recluse at the age of 30.
I am seriously straining my relationship.
I shower often, use powder, wear light weight cotton, change clothes 2x a day.
Is there a medicine for chronic body sweating?
herbal or prescription?

i have a fiance that is in jail and will be goin to prison for like four years i keep it very truthful with him yet i am very faithful. But when i tell him things he gets pissed he has an anger problem and it was a problem i told him it was becoming a problem in our relationship so he dealt with but now he has started to hurt himself instead of yelling at me over the phone because he knows i don't like it. i would like to know what it is called when people hurt themselves when they are mad, i want to help him because he is the guy i want to be with forever please help?

I got these pimples from my mom. My mom had the same problem as me and hers went away when she was 18! in her country they has no acne cream. mine is like her and tried creams and i was allgeric to them, washed my face and that didnt work, took zinc for a week and nada and acne pills. i took that for a week also. my skin is the same! i have no money for dermentoligist and am getting very fed up with it everyone always comments on it.

and it's not the horriable type of acne they ae small and some r kinda big and sprawrled all over my face. i am trying tea tree oil now. and i am 14, please dont tell me it will go away by the time im 18 thats ridiuclous i dont wanna end up as my mom


please what shud i do?

I asked this question and was surprised at some of the answers. I figured to ask it again.

How many times have you been in a pool and that surge of cold air catches your bladder? Well, this evening I was at the local YMCA. After my hour on the treadmill I decided it was time for a nice swim in the pool. I was the only one in the pool area. Wouldn't you know it as I was slowly getting into the pool, I got that surge you feel from the cold water that makes you have to pee. Well, since I was the only one in this huge pool that smell of chlorine, I decided to just pee in the pool. No one else was around, so why not. I figured, why get out, walk all the way to the locker room just to pee. I am sure I was not this first woman to ever do this. I am curious how many other ladies have done a similar thing?

I am in a relationship with a man and we have sex on a regular basis. Nothing was different last night but today, I am very sore. The soreness is in my lower belly. I got a few crowns about four months ago and since then the gums directly above them have been tender and dark. I got braces about a month after this. Everything was fine until about three weeks ago when the gumline just above the crowns became inflamed. I went to the dentist because i thought I had gingivitis but he said according to the x-rays everything looked fine. He thinks I may have a small gap or hole between the crown and my gum. I was given a prescription for pain relievers and antibiotics even though he said they won't do much. He said that the periodontist may have to cut parts of my gum out and my gums might inflamed due to plaque getting trapped in my gums. He said that I may have to get the crowns redone.
Do you think this is something to be dealt with asap or can it wait a month? What do you think is happening and what might happen if I do nothing but brush three times a day, floss daily, use Crest Pro-Health Rinse daily and use a flouride rinse daily?
