2 cups brown rice mixed w/1/2cup brocolli with 1 teaspoon of soy sauce ,exra virgin olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon of promise healthy heart butter

Oh boy! you got it. You get the protein from the brown rice and Vit C from the brocolli as well as some protein.

The rest you used is just perfectly in order.

In fact, I will cook this--thanks.

Pro's-broccoli, soy sauce
Con's-rice, olive oil, healthy heart butter

It all depends on if you are eating this meal in moderation, as in not at every meal. Olive oil is misleading, and can be just as bad as vegetable oil. I say, go with it if you are eating it as a nice meal every once in a while. A good meal consists of lots of colors by the way, and your color pallette on this particular dish is extremely bland. Have fun and healthy eating!

Sounds yummy and sure is a good meal choice.
My choice would be more olive oil and skip the butter substitute and add more veggies.

Sounds very healthy. Brown rice is better for you then white rice. Thanks for a good idea. I'm trying to cook healthy meals too but its hard to find good food that taste good also.
