When a person consumes food then purposely expels it for fear of gaining weight, that is a sign of Bulimia.

Food can last up to 2 days within the digestive system. It must first enter the stomach where it stores the liquids and solids. It then mixes the food with acid to make it digestible. It'll then empty through the Duodenum and enter the small intestines.

As the food is digested in the small intestine and dissolved into the juices from the pancreas, liver, and intestine, the contents of the intestine are mixed and pushed forward to allow further digestion.

Finally, all of the digested nutrients are absorbed through the intestinal walls. The waste products of this process include undigested parts of the food, known as fiber, and older cells that have been shed from the mucosa. These materials are propelled into the colon, where they remain, usually for a day or two, until the feces are expelled by a bowel movement.

Therefore, by expelling the food from the stomach it is being deprived of the nutrients it needs to properly function and thus can cause a person to lose weight. People who are bulimic and anorexic view themselves as fat. This problems is a psychological disorder and must be overcome with the help of a psychologist, psychiatrists or therapist.

nutrients starts to digest today. it may nicely be thoroughly digested interior of like 4-6 hours. So, if someone were to eat breakfast contained in the morning and by no potential throw up until eventually overdue that nighttime, that nutrients must be lengthy in view that digested. besides the undeniable fact that, not all bulimics purge after each and each and every meal. So, if someone is purging with the intention to shed pounds, then sure, they nonetheless may be bulimic. They likely might want to protect their weight by throwing up once an afternoon, yet likely does not lose any. a good number of bulimics are honestly well-known weight.

It take about 6 hours to digest a meal(depending on amount and type of food)

Trowing up at the end of the day... the last meal will be expelled... maybe a little from the previous, too.

Lose weight? Eat fewer calories than what you consume in a day. But...

Don't thow up.... it eats away at the enamel on your teeth (all those acids in your stomache break down the food we eat... imagine what they could do in our mouths!)

i think bulemic is only when it is forced, so if you ate three meals then threw up without meaning too, youre either sick or you ate too much
