I shave my private area often now, and I always get a few bumps that are uncomfertable. Plus, being fair skinned doesn't help me hiding them from my boyfriend. He's coming over tomorrow for a romantic night and I was wondering what I can do to prevent this from happening?

My husband went to see a specialist in the Roux-en-Y
procedure. He has a few co-morbidites that will qualifiy him for surgery (blood pressure, BMI, inactive thyroid, etc.). Our insurance states that it MAY pay for the surgery, but only after a year of medically supervised weight loss, ($300.00 a month). We, of course, cannot afford that, including the fact that they may deny it after you are out all that money. My question is, does anyone know any safe alternatives to this? My husband broke his leg three years ago and has trouble walking any extended length and due to the pressure of his weight on his leg , it causes extreme pain. It is also hard for him to diet and loose any measurable amount of weight due to an inactive thyroid. He also has a congenital heart defect of disarythmia (spelling?). Does anyone have any ideas? Please, only serious replies, no jokes......

My daughter has, during the past hour, begun breaking out with little red bumps on her torso and the back of her legs. I just ran an "Aveeno" bath for her and she is still itching. One of my co-workers' children was just diagnosed with scarlet fever but I am pretty sure she said he had a fever along with the rash. Obviously I will call doctor if rash becomes severely worse or if fever does begin but I am just wondering what to look for (and what to do) to know if these are scarlet fever signs or not???

My son said he thought he had a blister because water came out of his nipple. He is 10. There are no irregularities and I felt no lumps or anything. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Ok, I know what the label says, and I know it is not good to take this much, but I have the most HORRENDOUS, AWFUL toothache you could ever imagine, I have to go to the dentist in 2 weeks to have my impacted wisdom teeth removed. They hurt like a female dog. I am almost in tears they hurt so badly. SOOO, I took 3 midols and I am sipping a margarita. I know it is bad for your stomach and liver, but it won't like, put me into a coma will it? lol, sorry this is probably the most pathetic question ever!! :)

Should I get my ta ta pierced? Any other girls get their's done, and if so, what did you have done. Don't worry, I won't report you for using 'grown-up' words.

I posted before about those supplements that claim to improve brain function and everyone said they don't work. Are there any particular types of foods that are better than others to have while preparing and right before you take a very long and important test? On Nov 17th I have 4 hrs of an exam, and then 3 hrs the next morning, then another 3 hrs that day.

I'm studying as much as I can every day, and I was wondering if there are foods that are better than others to help me prepare. I know of some foods that make my head feel clogged up, are there any that would help me relax and think clearly?

My brother has some kind of rash on his skin. The rash is all over his body. It starts from little red dots that are not spread far apart from each other. Later on those dots form together and produce even more which becomes a big red spot that swells. It is the most intense on his back and is spreading all over his body. He was also itching it since last night. We think its poison ivy but we are not sure since a poison ivy rash is commonly in lines rather then in big round spots. If you kno wast it is please recomend any temperary relief. He is 3 years old. he goes to preschool. Also today in his preschool there was a strong smell of chlorine. Im assuming the floors there were washed with it. Could this possibly be an allergic reaction to the chlorine. Do you have any ides on what is could be?

Hi I am a 20 year old female, I just had my physical today and I told the doctor how i have been sleeping alot lately, my period has been heavier than usual. This has been the case for several months now. She told me that I am anemic. I have noticed that I get cold very easily during times when the it's not really cold. My does turn pale sometimes, lips are dry almost all the time. I am a college student, and my workload expects me to stay up late nights but I can never stay up, I am goner after 10pm. Also I have noticied that I have been losing hair, my hair is getting thiner. I have a hard time paying attention in class, I start to fall asleep like 15 minutes into my leacture, and this can be seen with my grades dropping. My appetite: somes days i eat and eat, whereas other days i have one meal and dont feel the need for anyhting else. I weigh 114lbs and am 5'2, so I know i m not thin thin, because i have read that anemics are thin. Am I anemic or something else, please help!
