Ok, I know what the label says, and I know it is not good to take this much, but I have the most HORRENDOUS, AWFUL toothache you could ever imagine, I have to go to the dentist in 2 weeks to have my impacted wisdom teeth removed. They hurt like a female dog. I am almost in tears they hurt so badly. SOOO, I took 3 midols and I am sipping a margarita. I know it is bad for your stomach and liver, but it won't like, put me into a coma will it? lol, sorry this is probably the most pathetic question ever!! :)

No it's not a pathetic question. No you won't go into a coma. You should never mix any sort of drugs with alcoholic beverages. Drugs and alcohol don't go well together. Which is why it has that warning on the bottle. That also goes for the allowance of how many to take in a certain amount of time. Re-read the directions and follow them as instructed. If the pain is so unbearable you can try looking up home remodies to care for your too ache. Just call the dentist and ask if there is anything he can give you until your appointment. Hope you feel better.

The midol won't put ya in a coma, but too many of the margaritas could!!

No, it's not a pathetic question at all, you already know about the warnings, so just don't do it everyday for the next two weeks.....

maybe try warm packs to your jaw (use a wet washcloth in a ziplock and heat it SLIGHTLY in the microwave)

Better yet, try to get your appointment moved up. Tell them how bad your pain is. They should be able to schedule you closer. If they prescribe anything in the meantime, don't combine that with the 'rita's.

Feel better soon!

Mixing alcohol and Midol could cause you to go into liver failure. I'm not kidding here. High doses of Midol without alcohol can cause liver failure too. You can die from liver failure so it's really not a laughing matter, if you don't believe me, then look it up. The same thing can happen if you take too much Tylenol. My aunt died of liver failure, please think about what you are doing. Dump out the rest of your drink, and don't take any more medicine. If it's hurting that bad you can go to the emergency room, you might have an infection in your teeth/gums that needs to be treated with antibiotics.

OK LOOK..IF YOU HAVE A TOOTHACHE YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN DRINK MIDOL YOU SHOULD BE DRIKING THE MOST POWERFUL PILL WHICH HAS 8OOMILAGRAMS. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU GET A PLASTIC BAG AND FILL IT UP WITH HOT WATER AND THEN PUT IT INSIDE ANOTHER BAG, THEN PUT IT WHERE YOUR PAIN IS!! you probably have a tooth infection..NO YOU WILL NOT BE INA COMMA BECAUSE YOU AT LEAST HAVE TO DRINK TWO AT A TIME, I'M SURE THAT NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN BY DRINKING AN EXTRA ONE!!

It probably won't put you in a coma, but it probably won't help your toothache either. See if you can call your dentist or go to an emergency room, hopefully they can prescribe a stronger pain-killer.

midol usually has ibproufen (or naproxen) and is safer than acetiminophen (tyenol) but it could be bad for your liver. just dont exceed the maximum dosage (which is 800mg of ibproufen or naproxen)

I don't think you'll have any trouble, as long as you're not taking Vicodins and drinking alcohol~a potentially deadly combo
