Has anybody tried the NutriSystem diet yet? Does it really work? Any downsides? What happens if you quit and follow a simmilar diet?

I had a friend who tried it and had pretty good results. She lost 50lbs in four months. The biggest downside would be the price. Pretty expensive..

I think the price is a downside, but even more importantly is that eventually you have to go out into the "real" world and pick food that Nutrisystem doesn't package. This is when people regain.
It might be a good plan for you, who knows? Keep doing research, see if there's a Nutrisystem support board where you can talk to Nutrisystem customers.

it does work, but very expensive, snacks are like eating cardboard. meals are just o.k. I wouldn't do it again ............. weight watchers is a better plan.
