Is it true that if you were once athletic and stop working out for awhile and then start back up, your body can be pushed to the same limit as before?

Ok it all started over a month ago. I went to the doctor for a UTI took medicine felt fine and 2 weeks later it came back. Since then I have been to the doctor 3 times. Nothing they're giving me feels like it's working. It doesn't hurt when I pee still but I have the most awful pressure in my bladder area and it is so uncomfortable! I went and saw a urologist yesterday and he said that I wasn't given a strong enough medication for long enough. So he put me on Keflex three times a day for 7 days and then I have to take it once a day for 3 more weeks after that!!! It's been two days and I still feel no reilef. The urologist said that my bladder is probably bruised and swolled from the infection. They had me get an ultrasound too and they didn't say anything was wrong. I'm so scared that this will ever end. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

If you have an itchy spot, then you just slap it and it doesn't come back for a while? told ya it sounds stupid. but i was in class and someone said "have you ever had a itchy spot then u made a soft X on it and slapped it and it went away? it works!" it did work but then i realized why dont u just slap it? my question is have u ever tried this? and dont say it wont work bc u have probably never tried it.

seriously, I had a bad pull playing hockey a year ago, and ever since then, I can get an erection, but it does not last for long. I have heard that the two might be related. Is this true? Please, doctors and health professionals reply.

I'm on a very strict diet, working with a nutritionalist. It is working great! I go to the gym 4-5 days/week, alternating cardio/weights. My stomach fluctuates. One day it's at --", the next it goes up. I never see it continually go down. I do crunches 3x/week, walk the treadmill, my sugar intake is next to zero. What is going on? I'm afraid to ask my nutritionalist, he might think I'm cheating. I only see him 1x/month anyway. I drink tons of green tea, what else do I have to do to see the inches go down?

Basically, I've been putting it off my whole life, but my problems are getting so bad that I have no choice but to go to therapy. I'm terrified and I'm afraid I'll dread it every week. I feel like a psycho-people always say there is no shame in therapy, but the reasons I have to go are bizarre. I'm so embarrassed and scared to share these problems with someone. How can I make peace with this? How can I feel comfortable with going?
