If you have an itchy spot, then you just slap it and it doesn't come back for a while? told ya it sounds stupid. but i was in class and someone said "have you ever had a itchy spot then u made a soft X on it and slapped it and it went away? it works!" it did work but then i realized why dont u just slap it? my question is have u ever tried this? and dont say it wont work bc u have probably never tried it.

It works by shocking the nerve endings. It is harmless. I do it to my head so I won't get small scratches that burn when I wash my hair.

Yeah, same as scratching something hard so it hurts instead of itches. You can deal with the pain better than the irritating itch.
The x thing is probably partly a placebo effect, although I have used it on mosquito bites, and it has worked.

I do it all the time, especially for itches on my legs when I am wearing jeans. I can't scratch the itch because nails on clothes gives me the same feeling as nail scraping a blackboard. It works for me.

Yeah that works, I also squeeze it really hard once and get the clear stuff to come through - that works too! haha
