I have acid reflux disease, and I usually have to hold my breath to keep acid down (as a result of keeping down acid with some kind of muscle) and it's usually just for 1 or 2 seconds, not even 2 seconds. Is that killing brain cells, and will it hurt me in the long run?

About a week ago, I got pins and needles on my left arm and the left side of my head. It's happened around thrice since the first time and although it doesn't really bother me, I'm a bit worried as to what might be causing it. It doesn't happen at a specific time or after a certain activity - it just happens. I'm a 26-year old female, generally healthy and not overweight. Can anyone tell me what it could be?

i know its normal to have period cramps and all, and i've always been having cramps one the first day. but for the past 2 months, my cramps been really crazy!! i would be cramping so bad, that my legs go weak, i feel really hot, but still sweating. and i feel like vomitting. and i feel really dizzy..can anyone tell me if that has ever happen to you before?? and what do you think its wrong? is this normal or should i go to a doctor !!

I suffer from severe anxiety...I take meds for it and it helps so much, but I am still so scared to go out and meet people. I get along with people at work, but second I get off work I come home and sit....I have been invited out and I always want to go but can never get myself to go. How do I get over this? Please do stupid answers...and don't just tell me to go out and it will be fine...I have tried that before and it doesn't help.

I am a 24 year Male from Vadodara, India. I was having good hair-growth. But since last 2 months, i m losing my hair very quickly. Almost 30 to 40 in a day. I found that the water which i drank from water-purifiedr of my company was having carbon. so i stopped drinking it since a week, also I stopped using any shampoos instead i m using "Aritha" soap. This took good effect, but its not much helpful and not a considerable improvements. can anyone suggest me how can i stop losing hair, and regain the lost ones. thanks.

My boyfriend keeps sh!tting blood... not a little, a lot!! It's not clotting, it always seems fresh (yeah, i asked) And he's in pain a lot. He cant afford medical so I'm trying to figure it out as best i can... Any ideas what it could be? Could working on the oil rigs affect it at all?

So tomorrow I'm going to be participating in the blood drive at my school. However, I read in the form that you are not supposed to be giving blood if you are addicted to drugs. Now, I have to take two advils every 6 hours for very painful chronic pain in my back (that was redundant), and, I also have to take 72 miligrams of Concerta each morning because I have ADD. Now, I'm not addicted to either of these medications, but I'm worried that I wont be able to give blood because I have to take such high doses. Will this be a problem? And if it is, do you think it will be smart to just skip it for a couple of hours?
