if you get headaches when you don't take it, you are experiencing withdrawals.
if it is giving you migraines to begin with, consult your doctor right away. if these headaches continue, there are a lot of other drugs you could be taking that won't give you headaches.

If you are having side effects from a medication, like migraines, notify the doctor who prescribed it at once.
It is very dangerous to just stop taking Paxil abrupty, even life-threatening. Please call your doctor at once. Now, if you are reading this no matter what time it is.
Many medications have to be tapered off to quit them safely or other medications may need to be given. Always take a medicine as it is prescribed and report problems instead of changing the directions on your own.

Yep, just another paxil side effect. I developed migraines while on paxil, and while weaning off this horrible, addictive drug they have magnified even more. Visit the site below, and talk to nurse Laurie (known as Scotty on the boards). She can give you great information as to how to withdraw in as painless a way as possible.

how long have you been off of paxil?
if you have taken it for sometime, your body and mind adjusts to the way it helps you control your anxiety and makes you dependent on it.
then when you get off of it, you can feel weird and disconnected.
i have been on paxil for years and now am off any medication. i have experienced extreme anxiety because of this. i use running as my medicine and it does wonders. plus it is natural. it took some time to wear off the anxiety and getting used to not being on medication.
talk to your doctor about this if you haven't done so.

Depending on when you quit taking it, I would give it my best guess that you are going through withdrawls. May I ask you your age? Menopause also complicates migraine attacks. Drink lots of water. People don't realize how important it is to re-hydrate our bodies.

they made it so your body depends on it and when you don't take it you go through withdrawls. I don't trust medication. There have never been so many different kinds of cancer, and the number grows every year.....what you put in your body today could have serious effects later.

Because your brain is used to it and it is suffering withdrawl. Don't play around with it. Stopping needs to be disgusted with your doctor. It could also effect your blood pressure. Switching back and forth is dangerous to your health. speak with your doctor
