Did not live in other countries, so I would not know, I know it is not the case for every Brit, but more often that not, this is the case

I have found that its the same everywhere. Many men refrainfrom washing their hands after a bathroom visit. Who kows why...

Maybe some people dont wash their hands, but a lot of people do. Its not just british people, its people in every country that sometimes fail to wash their hands

I think (and hope) its usually just no1s, and in pubic toilets. Often, you have to walk past the urinal to use the sink, most can't be bothered. As well as feeling uncomfortable walking past other men, you also have to negotiate puddles. The feeling that you could miss something going on elsewhere (the bar) is also a big factor.

Its a man thing its about going to the pub and pi!!ing down your trouser leg Men just dont wash hands

I've given this answer elsewhere, but I'll repeat it. In a recent survey on hygiene a check was done on the contents of "nibbles "dishes on the bartops of hotels, bars and cafes...ie; nuts, crisps etc.,provided for customers in general.
The results of the survey found ON AVERAGE...each dish contained 14 different samples of urine....Think about it guys !!

I am a British man and I ALWAYS wash my hands after I have been..... And anyone who dose not is just a dirty boy...Another top tip never shake hands with anyone after they have been just in case......

because Brits are not good at personal hygiene? or they are comfortable touching their sexual organ while peeing and then eating food with their bare hands afterwards? who knows? cheers!

I agree. You would not believe how disgusting some blokes are in public washrooms.makes you never want to touch a door handle again!
