My friend wears a girdle to bed and i wonder if that is safe since it is tight...She said someone told her to do that because it will flatten your tummy and make it smaller....But im wonder if that is safe or should she just wear it during the day??

when you just started exceriseing to loose weight and your husband iis making comments about your *** being 4ft wide and that you dont do anything. I have been doing alot. I have been walking on th treadmill at work during my lunch for 2 and half miles a day and then go home and ride my bike for 2 miles up hill and then cook dinner and clean and do laundry and then he says that i am lazy and not excersiseing enough and how long does it take to see a difference?

Its that yellow stuff under the nail that grows. I have used different solutions that you paint on twice a day for about 3 years now. Some will control it but I can't find one to get rid of it. HELP!

I have had it for nearly a month now and have dug out the hook, have put ointment on it, have soaked it in water and still I have the most intense pain everytime it gets bumped or I walk on it. It is on my big toe on my left foot. If anyone has any suggestions, other than "go to the doctor" I'd be happy to hear from you!

After I eat certain creamy foods, I get really sick and either vomit or nearly vomit. Foods like alfredo and some rich, creamy soups. But I can drink milk, eat cheese, and everything else dairy okay, and none of my symptoms match lactose intolerance. Has anyone ever heard of this before? What could be in alfredo sauce and some creamy soups that makes me so sick?

Having recently been to the opticians and found that the eyesight is getting worse, I was wondering if anyone has experience of eye laser treatment?

How safe is it as I have heard there is a chance it can make you blind? Have any long-term effects yet been estasblished?

My girlfriend has recently started taking the pill which she takes for 21 days and has a 7 day break. I thought that by taking the pill it stops an egg from producing, so how comes in your 7 day break you can bleed, if there is no egg there, where and what does the blood come from. I understand the concept of taking the pill, in terms of that it thickens the lining of the womb to stop sperm fertilising the egg. but I also thought that it stops an egg from producing aswell. Is that true. Please try 2 answer in the simplest terms if possible.

it started with a sore throat then a mouth sore and now the skin on my hands is very painful and my hands have some red sploches and painful red bumps on them.

i know it would be better to go to a doctor instead of yahoo answers but i dont have insurance and i cant afford to go just to hear that it is just a virus that has to run its course.

i got it from my 3 year old son but i dont know where he picked it up. his has passed but is this kind of illness common?

I am prone to urinary tract infections, so I have to take precautions like drinking a lot of water and cranberry juice, but lately, after sex, I feel all irritated down there. Occasionally it turns into a UTI, but most of the time it's just irritating. When we use a condom, I don't have the problems. Does anyone else have to deal with this? Have you mentioned it to your doctor?

I had an ulcer (and very well could still have it) and I have noticed recently that I get extremely gassy after eating/drinking milk products. Since the Ulcer was diagnosed I tend to have diahrreha more often the I ever had my entire life. Could and Ulcer cause me to have issues with breaking down lactose or could I have become lactose intolerant?

I got contacts for the second time last week but the optician wasn't in and the secretary gave thyem to me so i couldn't ask how long they last. The last time i got them i asked the optician and she just said they should last a pretty long time if i take care of them. Anyone know roughly, if you clean them etc. how long 'regular' contacts last? Thnks guys
