I would consult a dermatologist for severe acne, but if you cannot afford to do so there is a product called dermalogica, it can be purchased off of ebay, It is a product that professionals use in some dermatology offices and skin care professionals use also, There is a whole lot of different items they sell but they do have a specific product for pimples, you just put a small dot on each pimple and it should help, my children used it. Also you can go to your local general medical doctor and ask him to give you a prescription of tetracycline that did wonders for my children during their teenage years for breakouts.

Pro-active is a miracle, the only down fall is it discolours your towels, but it really does work and fast too. Ive tried everything for years, some things will work for a little while but then my skin just got used to it, but when I tried pro-active, I was totally surprised how well it worked, Ive been using it for over a year and I swear by it. But you could always try Aloe Vera straight from the plant I hear that works really well and its cheap.

Have you been to a dermatologist? My son had pretty severe acne as a teenager. The dermatologist tried different antibiotics. He even tried ProActive. After they didn't work, we went to Accutane. It's a very harsh medication but very effective. Accutane is the last resort but as I said, very effective. Good luck to you.
