Try lemon juice and Nizoral antidandruff medicated shampoo. It really works. Apply lemon juice (fresh) on your scalp and leave it for several hours then wash your hair and scalp using nizoral shampoo. Once resolved try to change your usual shampoo let say every month or two because using same shampoo makes sort of chemical build up which can irritate and could result to skin dryness thus flaking. Wash your hair and scalp regularly ,it will help a lot to eliminate dead skin before it can build up into larger flakes. After bath moist your scalp with little oil (vaseline or any baby oil) and avoid overexposure to the sun and another thing that you have to practice is avoiding warm water to wash your scalp. Keep using cool water to wash your scalp as warm water adds scalp dryness and increase flaking. Hope this helps.

The night before you will be home all day the next day...
Wash your head with any shampoo. Lightly scratch your scalp to exfoliate. Rinse very will. Then Criso your scalp. That's right lard. Tie a scarf or old pillow case around your head. Sleep like that. Then don't shampoo again until the next night. I know it sounds strange but I promise you complete dandruff relief for at least 3 months. If it doesn't work contact me...I'll be totally shocked.

Rub onion juice on your scalp and leave it overnight. Shampoo your hair in the morning. Repeat process for at least a week. The only hitch is receiving a divorce notice, if ya married.

this might sound weird, but when i cut out dairy from my diet, my dandruff goes away completely.
otherwise, apple cider vinegar rinse after washing hair. the smell goes away pretty quickly. you don't reek of vinegar all day.
