Can somebody give me an approximate statistic on this? Please refrain from advocating or bashing circumcision. I'm trying to estimate the odds of a boy who was born recently (and not circumcized) being the "odd one out" the locker room in Middle or High School. Any statistics out there on recent circumcision rates in the US, particularly for the caucasian ethnic group? Thanks

Hubby stepped on a upturned "somewhat rusty" screw at work today, has a puncture wound in the bottom of his heel. He can walk on it with "a good bit of pain". There was no bleeding, and he had a tetnous shot April 2005.

We cleaned the wound with Peroxide and put Antibotic Ointment and a sterile cotton pad on it.

What to do next?

What are any signs he needs to see a doctor?

Would an antibotic help speed healing?

Hey, I am a 15 year old male. I play basketball for my HS team, and I have bad leg problems that I need an idea of what is wrong.

1st- The bottom of my foot at the very back I would say the heel, has pain after running on it. If i don't have pressure on it it stings and aches really bad. What could be wrong?

2nd- My knee has pain, it gets sore and swollen, what could be wrong here?

I really need some help... I can't go to the doctor anytime soon...

I'm 18 and wanting to get on the pill. My boyfriend and I dont like condoms, nor do we trust pulling out. We know that each of us are free of STD's, so that is not an issue. My question is, how do I go about getting on it. I dont want my mom to know and I'm on a college budget. Can I simply walk into my local Women's Center or Planned Parenthood? Do I have to have an exam if I go through them? I heard that if you go through something like that the pills are really cheap, if not free. Is this true? Thanks for the help!

I already have a child, who was born early & got seriously ill, nearly died a week before his actual due date, & now has disabilities because of it. I am scared that this one will end up the same way, or worse. I can't feel like this for the next four months, or it might become a self-fufilling prophecy. I'm not normally sad, or depressed, or a worry wart. But my crystal ball is broken, & it seems like all I do now is fret over the birth of this child, when I should simply be enjoying my ability to be able to have kids. I have Paxil, but I don't think I should be taking things like that right now; I haven't taken it in months anyway; & I don't want to start again.
I have talked to people about my feelings, but they dismiss them by saying that there's nothing to worry about. But they're not me, & haven't spent three weeks of their lives in a pediatric ICU waiting for their first born to fight his way back from the very edge of death's door.
I don't know how to stop feeling this way.

A couple months ago I was diagnosed with GERD. It's killing me. They prescribed me pepcid. Which I am taking twice a day. Plus I have taken every form of zantac and tums. I have even changed my diet to eliminating anything that creates heartburn. I got a sample menu online so I know everything has been eliminate. Nothing is helping. If I lay down, I can use a heating pad, which works as long as I'm laying down using it. Once I get up I'm still in pain. Also burping has been helping. But I have to gulp down water so I can burp, because I don't have the need to do so. I called the doctor, but can't get in for another 2 weeks. And the nurse won't answer any of my questions. I really need some help, as this is making it really hard for me to eat, drink, sleep or even breathe..

I had my first anxiety attack last week, trembling thinking i was going to die sharp pains in my head numbness I had to take adavan all week just to get to class, My doc gave me Selexa and i started it 2 days ago, Yesterday I took another bad attack and I find im sick for days after one. Is this normal? Ive seen 3 doctors and there all saying anxiety but I cant help but think its something else. My pupils also dialate alot lastnight they were huge the doc said it was from the meds but i took med this morning and they didnt get big. Im so confused...can someone give me any kind of relief here? Anyone with the same problem? I also get hot flashes alot and my hands felt like they were on fire earlier..
