I have never eaten fruit and vegetables, they truly make sick, 'cept spuds, processed peas and tinned tomatoes, in my life ever! I even refused it as baby apparently. To this day it's meat, all kinds, including burgers, bacon, sausages. Chips, eggs, bread, cheese and fish. Lots of pastry dishes, including pies of all description. I love fried food. I can sit and eat a full pack of chocolate digestives in one sitting. A dozen bags of crisps too, not in the same night, that would be greedy! Chocolate of every description. I drink about 12 mugs of tea a day, i smoke, don't excercise,my job is a driver, not too strenuous. I don't drink alcohol.
I'm 41, look 35, really! My blood pressure is 109 over 57, cholesterol is ok, I'm 5foot 11inches and weigh 11.5 stone. And my doctor reckons i'm one of life's anomalies and i'll live to be about 90!(I thought he was gonna hit me when he said that!)
Why should I live a healthier lifestyle?

I have a sister who is recovering from meth use. She has an undiagnosed skin condition with phychological, gastrointestinal & neurological problems. She has convinced herself that she has a mystery disease called morgellans, her doctors are not convinced of this malady. They believe it is phychologically induced by her previous drug use, or a result of it by making her immune system weak. Her children also had this condition, but are now doing well in a temp foster home. I'm concerned for her but she will not listen to me or believe that it is caused from the meth. She's on a desperate mission to prove it is a real physical disease. I don't believe this nor do her doctors. Can anyone give me some insight on this subject?

A friend of mine who has had hep c for years now was very ill and went into the hospital and they said she had liver cancer. But it was inoperable and very progressed. They said she had 3-6 months to live. Last week I talked to her on the phone and she sounded fine she was complaining of feeling ill but thats its. NOw this weeks she is acting all loopy and like she doesn't know whats going on. She is using depends now. That was a very rapid change in just one week. Her husband says that she is only taking vikoden and that woudn't make her all that loopy. Has anyone ever dealt with anything like this. I mean with the rapid change and the bowel issues. I am in total shock how this came about. One week she was fine and the next its like she doesn't know me. Does anyone know anything about liver cancer. Does this sort of cancer consume your mind...is that whys shes acting crazy.

I know I shouldn't be so self-centered but it's true. I try to help people through volunteer groups and in my daily life with money..shelter..advice..etc. All that happens is that people will take advantage of me. Most peole don't even want my help. I'm mostly a quiet person so that is not conducive of keeping company. all and all I really don't like people as company anymore as crazy as that sounds and I would like to live a life of solitude. What are your opinions on this sort of lifestyle? Some people say that people need human interaction, but I don't feel that is neccesarily true. My docs say that I am depressed...but Ifeel that people just use me and bring me down. of , course he is against it, but no offense but I take everyting I heasr from my shrink with a huge grain of salt

i looked into nutristystem and jenny craig and it is way too expensive for me. when i go to the market i see that lean cuisine, WW smart ones and healthy choice meals are often on sale at a good price. has anyone of you had success eating one of these frozen meals for lunch and dinner? i was thinking of doing that along with a healthy cereal for breakfast with some fruit and veggies in between meals. i have a problem with portion control and i am frequently in a hurry so i was thinking that this may be a good thing for me.
