Full Marks solution - brilliant - no smell, no waiting for hours. Put it on, comb it through, wash. repeat 7 days later. perfect.

The best thing I have found is a natural treatment containing tea tree, and neem oils. Many brands available, ask your chemist. And the best comb on the market, is calle Nitty Gritty. It does cost £10, but it takes out all lice, and actually scrapes their eggs off the hair sahfts too. I have only seen this comb in our local independent VANTAGE chemist. I am sure any vantage store will be able to order if they don't have them

Yuk, its that time of year again.. good luck

Keep combing and removing nits and lice. Spray head with diluted tea tree oil. Buy and use tea tree oil shampoo. Also pick up coconut shampoo as they dont seem to like that much either for whatever reason!

Obviously get someone to check your head too. Change bedding and report it to the school so they can find the culprit.

Just combing won't make them go away, you have to go through their hair with a fine-tooth comb and make sure all the eggs are gone. Keep their hair short and have them wash their hair with a special shampoo (you can get this at a pharmacy or a hairdresser).
Then you'll most likely have to disinfect their clothing and bedding thoroughly.

because they r kids and get prescriptions free you can get the shampoo from the doctor for them ,shampoo is about £8 to buy in chemist. Wash the pillows and bedding as eggs can be on them ,wash hair with tea tree shampoo as they are ment to hate this ,tesco have a shampoo and condioner reasonable priced.
if at end of week they still have some get the lice shampoo on them.

You can get special shampoo for nits, which I believe you use in combination with a special comb (that hurts like hell I seem to remember). You have to use it for a certain amount of time though, even if you think they've gone.

my children keep getting them too and it dosent matter what you do to there hair they will keep getting them just keep going through every 2 days with cheap conditioner and keep there hair tied back or plated this will only help keep them away for a certain amount of time and its the parents at the school who dont bother with there children that lets it down for every one else my son has his hair shaved now but i have still found the odd one now and again but with my girls i just keep it tied back for school good luck sorry if ive not been too helpful but i have tried every thing and its not worth wasting your money on expesive products because they dont work
