I think your worst time on those planes would have been the 15, 20 min's while they're flying hijacked, people dead in the aisles, and whatever, stabbed, everybody screamin cryin, sick, etc, etc. Once you hit the buildings I'd bet death was instant for most, just like blacking out, or shutting off a light switch. Those planes hit the towers at 450 miles perhour and 550 miles perhour each, and literally disintegrated I believe. It would be like an instant cremation if you were on either of those planes or on one of the floors of buildings right in the planes' crash zones.

They may have felt physical pain for a brief period of time. I believe that they may have suffered more during the moments prior to the crash when the realized the hopelessness of their situation. I can only begin to imagine how horrible their last moments were.

May be mentally, no possibility to feel the pain, the crash could have killed them in a fraction of a second, can't imagine..

Yes, unfortunatly many probably did. However it would not have lasted long at all.

im sure they did. but not for long that heat had to kill most instantly.
