I wonder what goes through their head. Are they really attracted by the dead body or just curious, or maybe high off of some drug making them halucinate. gee I can only imagine.

There was this doctor some time ago that feel in love with a sick patient of his. And when she died, he took her body to his house and pretended it was his wife-including having sex with it. He said that it was because he loved her, and that death would never come between that. It's some weird disease in the brain.

Necrophelia is usually those attracted to the recently deceased, not the rotting away kind.

However, like in ALL sexual fetishes and disorders (NOT that a fetish IS a disorder, but for THIS answer right now...), there are levels and variety. Most "typical" necropheliacs are attracted to the freshly dead, such as a person who died 20 minutes ago in the emergency room. The guy will bring the corpse down to the morgue, and you can imagine the rest... Of embalmers (morticians) in mortuary salons; the fact they "freshen" up the body for display makes it less rotten to the feel/taste, so things aren't as gross as they would appear.

I imagine that absurb and totally "whacked" necropheliacs into the long-dead would be having trouble keeping it in their pants should a living dead / zombie attack arrise! That's a bit of humour thrown in to lighten up this touchy and disturbing subject.

I won't pretend to understand one's motives to be attracted to a lifeless corpse. I have tried and tried to find out the "why" in my many fetish researches and yet I still cannot grasp any possible reason anyone without a mental disorder would be into this type of activity.

Granted, on one level, it isn't as "bad" as pedopheliacs or zoopheliacs, who abuse of innocent living creatures. Necros at the very least abuse of non-living tissue, which is AT THE VERY LEAST, one step above the other forementioned sexual disfunctions.

But in all honesty, I cannot understand how someone would conciously do such a thing. Believe you me I have tried to understand, failing miserably at every attempt.

I am just glad that my own fetish is FAR from anything so disturbing in concept!

Cheers

20 years ago they caught the autopsy worker in a big hospital having sex with a dead body of a young girl that died in a car accident.
he told the police that he used to do this with all the females dead bodies he had to take care of them.
I knew that guy, and he wasnt looking like a bad guy at all !!

Only someone who is sick in the head could have that condition. They should be institutionalized.
