had protected sex (condom) on August 1st. Normally my cycles are anywhere from 27-29 days long so I'm pretty regular. The first day of my last period was July 27th and it ended around August 1st. Nothing happened to make me think the condom broke or anything. However, I had many symptoms of pregnancy for a few weeks after. I got what seemed to be my normal period on September 20th, a few days earlier than normal. It wasn't light, or "spotting-like" or anything and I had pretty bad period cramps with it, like always. It lasted 6 days. I had taken 3 pregnancy tests before that and one on the day I started bleeding, all negative. However, even after my "period" was over, I kept having pain in my abdomen and I feel like my stomach is bloated and pushed out. Since then, I've taken 7 more pregnancy tests, all negative, most done with first morning urine. The most recent one was done September 7th. Could I be pregnant with 12 HPT's being negative and one done over a month after having sex?

I know this sounds like a stupid question but last night when I was getting ready for bed I bent down and I felt some pain behind my knee. when I touched it I felt a large bump. It kind of felt like when you have a bad sore throat and your glands are swollen. I looked at it and had my husband look at it and we saw two small holes. It's a bump about a little larger then a pea and the area around it is a bit swollen. If you touched it, the top of it felt like when you have a blister and the skin is kind of soft and you can feel liquid inside but the rest of the bump is harder. It does not itch AT ALL and I felt no pain if I was really bitten by something. Today I was trying to get some of the liquid out and I did but it also poped and some thick pus like stuff came out. It seems like after I get some liquid out of it, it will get a little smaller but then it will fill up with more liquid. The pain that I feel is only around the bite and feels like when you workout to much and get sore.

My son is 12 years old and yesterday he started crying saying that he does not want to grow up. He normally is not a kid that is always crying and there has been two occasions in a week where he starts crying out of a sudden. The first time was because he was worried about failing Math and last night it was because he said that he has noticed how fast time goes and he does not want to get older.

He was saying that he does not want to grow up and have to move out of the house and not being with us. He was also saying that he remembers how we would sit down and watch the crocodile hunter together and now he is dead.

The first question I guess is, how do I explain to him that growing up is part of life and that it is all good?

The second question is, why is he thinking about thinks like this? Could be due to his hormones changing and all that?

1 of my patients has a problem in his throat sensation of plug in throat on the left side.swelling of soft palate. much swelling of tongue and elongated too which hits the soft palate on swallowing. left nostril blocked.eructations difficult come only when pressing stomach or bending to left side. very nervous cant travel alone fear of disease.wants things to be done very fast. no desire to do any thing

Well, basically 2 days ago I woke up with a "scratchy" throat. And a runny nose like water. Now today I still have the scratchy throat a little, but my nose was stopped up last night trying to go to sleep, but runny at the same time. Now today, i have the stuffed up runny nose, but im a little achey, kind of like I have a fever, but I'm not cold and shivering like I have a fever.

Do I just have a cold you think? I went to a crouded dance club on thursday, and it's now monday. Is it possible to catch a cold then and symptoms started appearing 3 days later?

Whats the deal with this...? I'm a college student and don't have a thermometer to see if I'm running a fever, but I doubt I am, and if i am, it is probably low.

I know this is random, but comming back from class to my dorm just now, they were handing out free monster energy drinks... I LOVE free stuff lol. ok hope you can help!

In the last 6 months I have found that if I try to sleep on my left side, I get a very uncomfortable feeling and then sometimes a really shooting pain around my left chest area (but not what I would have thought was my heart). I am 30 years old, and used to smoke until 1 year ago. I have no problems sleeping on my right or back. Does anyone have any experience of this, or could anyone suggest what it might be. I haven't seen my doctor because it's not an issue all the time, only when I try to sleep on my left side. Thanks.
