Depending on how badly youve torn your muscle from your hip bone . if severe you may need rehab with a physiotherapist. if doctor says no need for rehab streching helps. doing nothing about it causes your muscles to 'freeze' and in a long run limit range of motion.
Strech your Glutes( Butt muscle ) , Hamstrings (back thigh) and calf. Strech Slowly ,always remember to keep breathing , push the strech a little every once in a while. You can look up streching exercises on the net if u dont know any . Hope it works for you!

Chiros can be real wacked, money grubbing, repeat visit con artists. Endlessly cracking joints which need nothing but less invasive interventions. They do have their effective moments but not in your case, esp. if you've actually torn muscle away. Wow, ouch! Moist, well warmed penetrating heat, even ice even though it's later now after the injury. I've found cold therapy great at any time, but you have to be in the mood to handle the intrusion of the cold. Some hate it and therefore won't tolerate it. Physios, for the most part are a joke, four years training for what? Lay down on their hot pad and they drag their sorry asses back to see you behind a cheap tacky curtain 20 minutes later and bill some insurer for the privledge of wasting your time. They do nothing you can't do at home, and better. Rest is also superb with your type of injury, balanced out with instinctive gentle movement, always testing the area and not pushing yourself. Always try to find a position of comfort and rest there in that space for a time. Lots of fluids, warm baths, gentle massage from a friend. Direct them. Again, most so called professionals in that realm also are deluded clowns who actually think they are "healers" whatever that is. We heal ourselves and most of these professional "helpers" just get in the way of that process, usually exacerbating our symptoms. I wish you bon chance with this challenging and unfortunate injury. Remember to stay clear of the flakes I've alluded to and you'll fare much better.

Fast, unfortunately, does not exist in that.
Using a 1 MHz ultra sound radiator (about $180.00) will speed the healing. DMSO applied regularly to the site of the injury will help, and the sooner after the injury was sustained, the better.

Mix a blend of the following essential oils: 4 drops Roman Chamomile, 1 drop Rosemary, 4 drops Lavender, 3 drops Tea Tree in one ounce of unscented massage oil or natural cooking oil. Apply to affected area four times a day. This should provide you with pain relief and also speed healing. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Ouch! I am a firm believer in heating pads and rest, but I'm hoping you have a good doctor you are seeing. Hope you are better soon - God bless!
