Somebody told me that the marines told him a way to lose weight effectively is to eat hard to digest foods such as really tought steak because your digestive process burns a lot of calories. Is this true? If it is what other kind of hard to digest foods could be used?

and hard to digest food , are digested slowly,, slow the blood glucose level rises slowly , doesnt have a peak and is not convertd as much to glycogen or fat...
thats why we should eat wheat, instead of flour or rice.
we should eat more proteins , because they are difficult to digest..
